Bigg Boss impact: Kabir Khan signs Ali Quli Mirza

Here is yet another instance of a Bigg Boss inmate getting a film in Bollywood. First it was Sunny Leone, who got a film with Mahesh Bhatt and now, it is Ali Quli Mirza, a wild card entry like Sunny Leone earlier. It is understood that Tiger director Kabir Khan has signed Ali.

The wild card entrant had once tried to escape from the show by climbing the on the house roof. Does this remind you of Kushal Tandon? The entire drama can be seen in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

Salman Khan tried to calm down Ali and asked him to return to the house. And this is when he announced that Ali has been offered the film by Kabir Khan. However, Salman didn’t mention the title of the film or didn’t give any hint.

But, it is understood that the film in question is Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Now, when there is someone like Salman Khan himself to advocate anyone to a producer or director, it is only a matter of time before the person signs a film.

First look of Sonam Kapoor as bride in Dolly Ki Doli

The first look of Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film Dolly Ki Doli has been released. The Kapoor girl looks all the more hot and sporty as a bride. The lehenga has been designed by Anita Dongre. Sonam is seen in the blue lehenga with her locks lose on both sides.

Sonam has put on a black leather jacket and a pair of goggles. The cool lady looks extremely hot in the entire attire.

The teaser of the film was released yesterday. It didn’t show Sonam, by the way. However, there was the threesome – Pulki Samrat, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. While Pulki and Varun starred in Fukrey, Rajkummar Rao was seen in CityLights. These three men are vying among themselves to marry Sonam in the film.

Alia Bhatt heads home as foreign weather doesn’t suit her

Alia Bhatt isn’t keeping well in foreign weather conditions. The level of uneasiness was such that she was advised to take complete bed rest. As a matter of fact, the young actress was ill due to bad weather and her shootings too. Though shootings hadn’t a role to play in her bad health, the weather certainly was.

However, Alia managed to complete her shooting and only then did she fly back home. She was shooting for the film Shaandaar. Alia was reported to have been ill with a stomach ache coupled with high fever. So, there was no chance she would continue with that bad health.

However, as mentioned here, she chose to take rest only after completing her shooting schedule. Had she went home midway through that might have taken a toll on the schedule and on the producer as well.

With this, Alia not only showed her punctuality and love towards her work, but also has proved to be a mature actress as her performance has always been lauded both by the critics and, of course, her fans.

Priyanka Chopra’s leased property running sex racket

Priyanka Chopra isn’t an actress known for controversies. However, this time around, there has been one around her. If reports are anything to go by, there is a thriving sex trade business going on in a property that she has leased out in Mumbai. The location in question is Versova.

The property leased out by Priyanka is used for a spa and it is known that the owner of the spa is Manik Soni. The police in Versova got a tip that there was flesh trade going. And the police sent a lure for verifying the truth in the tip.

After the raid by police, the manager of the spa as well as three women was rescued. They have now been sent to the rehab center. No need to mention that the owner is absconding ever since the police operations at the spa started.

Priyanka Chopra was never aware of the activities going on in the property she had leased. Now she may once again reconsider her decision to continue the agreement or not. The lease agreement isn’t know and for how long the Bollywood actress had leased the place.

P C Sorkar biopic: Akshay Kumar will play P C Sorkar

In yet another film that is a biopic, Akshay Kumar will don the character of P C Sorkar. For those who do not know, P C Sorkar is a world renowned magician from India. His original name was Protul Chandra Sorkar.

The film will be made by Soumik Sen. Soumik Sen’s last dishing out was Gulaab Gang, for which he also had composed the music featured Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla in the lead.

This will be the first time that Akshay Kumar will play the role of a magician. He has done very interesting characters before – from being an action hero in Baby, to doing comedy in films like Welcome.

The magician from India was at his peak during the 1905s and the 1960s. One of his most famous tricks was that of the floating lady. He did this trick on a routine basis and had become the identity of the magician.

The date of the film’s release is yet to be finalized and so isn’t known right now.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma won’t be in YRF film

There were reports earlier that claimed the possibility of Indian cricket star Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma to be seen in a Bollywood film. It might sound unbelievable, but the news was doing the rounds. There was also a possibility of Virat acting in the film opposite his girlfriend as he sought time to take a decision.

But, in the latest developments, and if reports are to be believed, then YRF has said that the production house doesn’t intend to launch Virat Kohli as an actor. There were reports earlier that said of the production house making a romantic film with cricket as the backdrop.

The film was to be made with cricket and romance as the main topics. And as the pair of Anushka and Virat is in the headlines, what better option any production house could have.

Nana Patekar to make a biopic on Baba Amte

Popular Bollywood actor Nana Patekar will once again don the hat of a director as he gets ready to director a film on social worker Baba Amte. The actor will also be seen in the lead role in the film. The film will also focus Prakash Amte, Baba’s son.

Nana Patekar is popular for his acting and dialogue delivery. He isn’t a director so to say. But, he has directed a film before, way back in 1991. The film he directed was Prahaar: The Final Attack.

The film will be made in three languages – Hindi, Marathi and English. Nana Patekar, said while speaking about the film that he will be playing the role of both Baba Amte and his son Prakash.

Baba Amte was an out of the world social worker, who devoted his entire life for the rehabilitation of leprosy patients. As far as the film is concerned, the actor said that he was offered the role of Baba Amte himself in a Marathi film. However, he didn’t accept the role.
