Sania Weds Shoaib

Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza and former Pakistani cricket captain Shoaib Malik have announced that they will be tying the nuptial knot in the month of April. Both have confirmed the news. The likely date that they are talking about is 11th April.
If all go well, and we hope to, then it will be such a sort of thing that both these individuals have represented their respective countries at the international level for two different games. This is interesting and one thing is good that both do not play the same game. Otherwise, it would have become difficult for the fans to support a single player.

Say Mallika Sherawat and one would visualize her in tiny clothes and in hot scenes. But why 'see' her like that everytime? Actresses have to deliver what the people like to see. Freida Pinto - The New Bond Girl

Freida Pinto - the name that is no more a name that raises eyebrows in ignorance. Freida is a household name after the success of Slumdog Millionaire. The actor from the Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire seems to be scaling new heights. After her success in the SM, she has more to cheer for. Ms. Pinto is now going to be a Bond girl. Yes, that is right. Freida is the new 007 girl and will be seen opposite Daniel Craig in the spy movie. Sam Mendes will direct the movie. Bond movies have always been a pleasure to watch. Here in addition, Freida will be in a major role and it was but natural for her to get nervous when she was pondering about the role. However, her fans will be sure that their heroin will fit into the shoes of the previous Bond girls.
The upcoming film will be Daniel Craig's third as a Bond - the fictional spy from Britain and overall this will be the 23rd Bond movie. His success stories before this include Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

There will also be voting on stories. You can promote your story by asking your friends to vote for the same. You yourself, though, cannot vote for your own story.

You can invite your friends to vote for you once the poll starts.

To allow others to vote for you, you should put in your real name in the story as the author. This name will be put up on the voting board.

The decision of our team will be binding and there will be no communication concerning any decision.

Love At First Sight - Right Or Wrong?

There are many facets to love. Some term love as God while some term love as illusion. This means that God is an illusion. Now what is this link? I remember to have read that love is an illusion many a time and also to have read that love is god. But that is really confusing. But I am a firm beliver that there can be no love at first sight. I really doubt who coined this phrase - 'love at first site'. When you see a person of the opposite sex what you see is only the physic. You cannot see the mind of the person. And for love to take place, the minds need to get involved. There cannot be only a physical intimacy which you can term it as love. That would be lust. And if god is love then where is the place for lust? Secondly, as long as you don't know the mind of a person how can you love him/her. It is important that you know the person, try to understand him/her and then only proceed. Moreover, to get into love and to remain their takes time. You need to win the confidence of the opposite person and all these activities need time. This cannot happen overnight. And why overnight, in just a moment? My god! I, personally find this really surprising. Such love is bound to break sooner - i hope this comes false. But I have seen some couples who have fallen in love at first sight - in a moment's time and have broken up faster still. Then what you get is only frustration and depression. Is this the love that anyone seeks?

Can Lovers Be Friends Again?

Yes I was in love with my best friend. The circumstances were such that we fell in love. In fact, we were the best of friends. We were lovebirds on the Net. We found each other through chatting and our friendship increased gradually. She was a good-looking girl who stayed around 200 KMs from my place. The distance was never a problem though. We found each other and the company that we kept quite pleasurable. We had not physically seen each other for a long time, but started dating each other. This is one scenario that many of us might have gone through, espcially during long-distance relationships. You might have even heard such examples in real life too. This grew steadily and we were soon in love and did not know when. We exchanged our address, we exchanged our phone numbers because long long ago we had exchanged our hearts. I liked all these experiences. However, all this was like a bubble. Things went horribaly wrong and I had to leave her so she had to. The reason has no meaning now as I lost my love totally and forever. But only one thing is there which I have not been able to understand is what went wrong. The time was very diffucult after that and I did not know what to do. It has been around 5-7 years since we broke up and we have not seen each other even face to face. In my case, if you ask me, I will only say that no lovers can be good friends again. The thing that broke their relation will always remain in the corner of their mind and that corner is very very personal and it can hardly be corrected.

Being In Love

There are many facets to love and love has many dimensions. Many of us here might have been in love at one point of time. There might be still some who are still in love. I will completely agree with you if you say that love is a strange thing. Strange as it is, it is simple as well. Love does not need anything. There are no such hard and fast rules to tell about if you are in love or not. And I can say from my experience that there are some things that you perceive or feel like doing (almost for nothing). The world suddenly seems to be a beautiful place to live in. You just cannot point fingers to anything in this world. You feel that there is all goodliness in this world and nothing bad can happen. You feel that the world has a lot to offer and your mindset at such times is strange too. The ghost of sacrific is mounted on your back ages ago and you become a non-materialistic entity. I would love to talk about these things in greater details still, but what I have experienced is that nothing is like what you or me feel when in love with someone. All comes back to square one when the building of love comes crashing down. The time after that seems very cruel. The world seems to come to eat us. Nevertheless, that was of no use as one has to live with the same hurt deep inside. The philosophy to see the love and world changes and we - at least I - come to the conclusion that, love is nothing but just an illusion, though love has been compared with god. So, love is god or love is an illusion - the argument simply continues.
