The dhak-dhak girl Madhuri Dixit –Nene will be seen on the sets of the Marathi version of KBC – Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati in the next week. And that’s not all, reports are doing the rounds that Madhuri will be hosting the reality show as well.

But how true are the news reports? We mean, is she only going to be a contestant on the show like some celebrities grace it on some occasions, or will she be indeed hosting the show? Then won’t Sachin Khedekar be seen now? When will Madhuri start hosting the show? Or will she be co-hosting it alongside Sachin Khedekar?

Well, there are lot of questions and not one answer in sight yet. Madhuri, in fact, will be seen in KBC, but she got the better of the expectations of most of her fans. Actually, she was guest contestant and bowled over everyone asking to co-host the show.

Actress will reportedly feature in the biopic of soft porn actress Shakeela. This biopic comes after another biopic made recently on Silk Smitha, the southern sex bomb. Shakeela was a part of some Malayalam films before she quit them and chose to settle in Chennai. However, she did some comic roles.

Shakeela wrote her autobiography recently, in which she made some revelations about the film industry, which shocked everyone. These developments have prompted one producer to make a film on this issue. Actually, he has shown interest in producing a film in all the four languages spoken in south-India.

This reminds one of The Dirty Picture, which was a biopic of Silk Smith and had got a great response. The film was the talk of the town as long as it was fresh in the memories of the audience during its release period.

When there are successful couples like Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai and Kajol and Ajay Devgn in Bollywood, Mahek Chahal is one actress who is looking to marry outside the industry. The runner-up of the Bigg Boss 5 season, the actress doesn’t believe in marrying someone from the same profession as hers.

She was away from India and spent time in Norway after the Bigg Boss 5 season ended. She also participated in the dancing reality show Nach Baliye. According to her, she has some projects in Bollywood up her sleeve, though she did not want to talk about them right now.

Gunday collects Rs 44 crores over the weekend

‘Gunday’ got a mixed response with ups and downs in three days of its release but managed to rake in more than Rs. 40 crores at the box office over the weekend. The BO collection was almost Rs. 44 crores, Rs. 43.93 crores to be specific.

The film – an YRF presentation features Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh in the lead along with Arjun Kapoor. There was around 70% occupancy on the opening day, whereas the film opened in around 2000 screens. On the first day, the film collected Rs. 16.12 crores.

The collection of the film dipped on the second day, Saturday, but still got Rs. 12.63. However, on Sunday, the film got the higher collection with Rs. 15.18 crores. This was due to the mouth publicity and the positive reviews the film got within a couple of days.

Looking at this progress, the film should make progress towards at least Rs. 100 crores. The film has been made with a budget of between Rs. 50 and 55 crores. There isn’t any other film set for release right away. So, that should help Gunday make more business.

Vidya Balan not to become a mother right now

Vidya Balan got married to Siddharth Roy Kapur in December 2012 and the rumors of the actress expecting has started to float already. The media filled with news and rumors of Vidya Balan and her UTV Studios CEO husband starting a family. However, she has stressed firmly that right now, she doesn’t have any plans to be a mother in real life.

She was responding to the queries about her motherhood when she answered in the negative. She was promoting her forthcoming film Shaadi Ke Side Effects. There is no possibility of Vidya and her husband Siddharth becoming parents so soon.

However, she did say that she will certainly one day answer in the affirmative regarding the questions raised about the actress becoming a mother. Her next film Shaadi Ke Side Effects is slated to be released on February 28.

Salman Khan to buy an IPL team?

It looks like Salman Khan will finally make it to the IPL (Indian Premier League) as a team owner or co-owner. According to the sources, he is showing a lot of interest in the game and is likely to pick a stake in the tournament. If the sources are realistic enough, he was recently in touch with Ness Wadia, the Indian industrialist.

Actually, Salman Khan had flagged off a marathon – the Little Hearts Marathon in the city. This is when he discussed the possibility of a stake in the IPL. However, there weren’t any details available as to what transpired between the industrialist and the actor.

The Bollywood superstar was the chief guest at the marathon, which was organized by the B J Wadia hospital, especially for the underprivileged children. The two of them were seen in great discussion with each other about IPL.

It must be mentioned that Salman Khan is great friends with Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia, who jointed own the Kings XI Punjab team in the IPL.
