Rules for posting
Let's begin with the first and the foremost rule. For you to participate as a contestant you should submit your story as your own creation but without any copyright.
Some of the points that you should remember before posting are:

No adult stories please.

No stories that are targetted at any organization, particular person, religion, caste etc. will be accepted.

No racial stories please.

No stories can be submitted with a copyright to it.

There should be a short summery of what the story is about.

It is upto you if you end the story with a comedy or a tragedy but there should at least be one conundrum that you should deal with.

The story should be at least of 400 words.

Your story should have a suitable title with reference to the story.

Stories should only be in English.

The source of the story should be only be you.

Your stories will be checked for duplicate content so be careful. Such stories would not be considered at all.

There will be 5 rounds where in all.

If there are less than 10 stories, that phase of the contest will be carried over to the next.

There will also be voting on stories. You can promote your story by asking your friends to vote for the same. You yourself, though, cannot vote for your own story.

You can invite your friends to vote for you once the poll starts.

To allow others to vote for you, you should put in your real name in the story as the author. This name will be put up on the voting board.

The decision of our team will be binding and there will be no communication concerning any decision.

The award winning author of the story will be paid through paypal only. Winner will be contacted duely. The award winning is a surprise and will be declared at the right time. But be relaxed that there is going to be a cash award and this will be our responsibility.

You agree that you allow us to publish these stories in whichever format we choose in the future and that you will have no right to take any sort of objection. If you have any such objection, it is better not to submit your story at all.
