The former Miss
Venezuela Eva Ekvall unfortunately died at a tender age of 28 due to breast
cancer. The beautiful lady was suffering from breast cancer for some days now. The
health conditions of Eva were monitored by the Venezuelans. Her fans were also amongst
the people who followed her fight against cancer.
Eva Ekvall
died in a Texas hospital. As a teenager – 17 Eva Ekvall had become the Miss Venezuela
in the year 2000. She was also one of the three finalists of the Miss Universe pageant
that took place in 2001. She came fourth there – the third runner-up. She donned
the hats of a TV news anchor, a model as well as an actress.
Her fight
against cancer gave her the strength to write a book titled “Fuera de Foco”
meaning “Out of Focus”. It needed a lot of guts and it is nothing less than
bravery to write a book in such a traumatized condition and that too at such a
young age.
Many Venezuelans
posted condolence messages on Twitter after they came to know about the death
of Eva Ekvall.
