Shah Rukh Khan manhandles Shirish Kunder?

The entire world knows that Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder, husband of veteran choreographer Farah Khan are at loggerheads. That is no new news for those who know things about these two Khan families. But things went on to become physical between the two last (Sunday) night at a party.

Both Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder were guests at Sanjay Dutt’s party yesterday night. It is understood that SRK attacked Mr. Kunder then and there. Well, it was no verbal attack. It was a total physical attack that SRK launched on Kunder.

When Farah Khan came to know this, she said that she remembered Shah Rukh saying that physical abuse is the worst possible way of sorting out any problem. She also said that according to SRK, the person who is beating up another fellow is passing through either a personal or a professional crisis.

According to reports, SRK pulled Shrish Kunder down by holding his long hair. It is really shocking to know and see this, a witness confirmed.

Kareena Kapoor feels secure with Saif Ali Khan

Agneepath earns more than Bodyguard on opening day

There is Agneepath, Agneepath and Agneepath all the way. When we heard that Bodyguard had been the highest grosser on the opening day in the history of the Hindi cinema, we thought that was it. It would take ages before the record is broken. However, it was just a matter of a few months to materialize.

Agneepath has earned more than what Bodyguard had earned on the opening day – an earning of Rs. 23 cr. Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard had earned Rs. 21.6 cr. It was a record in its own way. But Agneepath came strongly to earn slightly more than Rs. 1.6 cr. on the first day.

The film was released on the occasion of India’s Republic Day – Thursday, January 26. That was a good occasion for the people to take a break from the work and redeem themselves with a movie from the stable of Karan Johar.

Sonal Chauhan fined Rs. 85,000

Life was tough for Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan at the Mumbai airport. Sonal was returning from Macau where she had gone to attend an awards function. This is when she was accosted at the airport by the officials of the customs. The reason was that Sonal was seen carrying brands of high cost as well as high quality.

It did not take a minute for the officials to take the action, which they always do at the drop of a hat. Sonal was actually carrying bags that she had bought from the Hong Kong international airport. There was nothing that could defend Sonal and neither could she say anything in her defense.

The only thing that saved her was paying a fine, which she had no option but to do. There was no getting away for the Jannat actress. She was finally let go only after paying the fine of Rs. 85,000.

The storm raised by Veena Malik had hardly settled when Golshifteh Farahani came back to raise it for the second time hurriedly. Golshifteh Farahani is a little known Paris-based Iranian actress. She has been banned from coming back to her home country. She is alleged to have posed nude for a French magazine.

Even the Iranian government has come forward to stress the fact that Golshifteh Farahani is not welcome in Iran anymore. The 29 year old actress has posed for Madame Le Figaro. This is termed as an act that is certainly against the Islam.

It was Golshifteh Farahani herself who came forward to say that the Iranian government sent her a communication saying that she need not travel back to the country as they did not need the services of any artists or actors. “You may offer your artistic services somewhere else”, what the communiqué read.

This is not the first time for Golshifteh Farahani to be in the news. Some time back, she was seen topless in a short black-and-white film Corps et Âmes. She had also posted a ‘bare-chested’ picture of her on Facebook.

Zaheer Khan to marry Isha Sharvani soon

Indian pace bowling spearhead Zaheer Khan is all set to tie the knot with Isha Sharvani in the near future. It is reported that the families of the two stars met recently. However, a decision of the exact date has not been taken yet. As Zaheer is away in Australia currently, the date is most likely to be fixed only when he returns.

The two had met way back in 2005 during an even before Team India left for the Australian tour. However, things went sour for them soon enough and they parted ways as quickly as they came together. But two years on, in 2007, they reunited.

There is a confirmation for the news now, that when Zaheer returns from the current tour, the formalities of deciding upon the marriage will take place.

Here is yet another cheap publicity attempt by Poonam Pandey by targeting yoga guru Baba Ramdev. After an incident when a youth, one Kamran Siddiqui threw black ink on the face of the yoga exponent at the Constitution Club where he had come to attend a press conference.

Poonam Pandey took the opportunity to come in the limelight. She first tweeted “’Black’ day for Ramdev: Youth throws ink on yoga guru….. Is it true???” when things got confirmed of the ink ‘attack’ on Baba Ramdev, Poonam emerged again to tweet "Buri nazarwale tera muh kala". She even added that there might be someone who knew of the defect in Baba’s eye.

Then the same cover up act happened, saying “I did not mean to say it”. These words have no meaning once you have said what you did. She even said that she has nothing against the yoga guru. Well, certainly she has nothing with it. She got what she wanted – a bit of a limelight and we foolishly writing about her.

It is really sad to hear such words from a girl who has to take help of the developments around her to be in the news rather than making news herself.

The Dirty Picture bags awards at the 18th Screen Awards

The Dirty Picture ruled at the Screen Awards, 2012. The film won the awards for various categories. The Best Film award was anyone's guess. Milan Luthria won The Best Director award. But no marks for guessing - Vidya Balan won The Best Actress award hands down. The bold and voluptuous performance by the smoking hot Vidya looked to be the only choice before the jury.

The Best Actor award went to Ranbir Kapoor for his character in Rockstar. Saif Ali Khan got the Best Supporting Actor award as a role he played in Aarakshan. Adity Rao Hydari was awarded with the Best Supporting Actress award for her depiction in the film Ye Saali Zindagi.

The Best Actor award for a negative role was given to Prashant Narayan for his role in Murder 2. Priyanka Chopra was the obvious choice for Best Actress award in the negative role in 7 Khoon Maaf.

A R Rehman got the award for the Best Music Director for Rockstar. Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal won the Best Male Singer and Best Female Singer awards for the song Phir se ud chala and Ooh la la respectively.

Singer legend Asha Bhosale was honored with the lifetime achievement award on the occasion.

Preeti Jhangiani, is back to acting with her next film Yeh Hai Mumbai. The Mohabbatein girl, played a disastrous role as a producer for her film Sahi Dhande Galat Bande, has decided to return to acting on a fulltime basis. Yeh Hai Mumbai is basically a film that focuses more on the heroines.

Preeti Jhangiani has a very interesting role in the film. However, the details of the character were not divulged. Preeti Jhangiani had gone on a break after she gave birth to her first son. She is married to Parvin Dabas. She had a horrid time as an actress and could hardly find success on the silver screen.

Shahid Kapoor rescues Priyanka Chopra

For another time Shahid Kapoor has come to the rescue of his former love Priyanka Chopra. This will certainly remind you of how Shahid had been by Priyanka’s side when her house was suddenly raided by the IT officials some weeks back. Shahid has once again rushed to help Priyanka Chopra.

Salman Khan is ready for to host Bigg Boss Season 6

Nidhi Subbaiah is the newest Bollywood debutant

The year 2012 has started with Nidhi Subbaiah being the newest Bollywood debutant. Nidhi will be seen in Akshay Kumar’s production. The film is titled Oh My God. Akshay Kumar will also play an important role in the film. Nidhi Subbaiah has been making efforts to make her way through to Bollywood for some time now. It seems the results are paying off.

The shooting has kicked off for Nidhi Subbaiah, who will be seen with Om Puri, Mahesh Manjrekar and Paresh Rawal. Incidentally, Nidhi Subbaiah’s first shot was with Paresh Rawal, who plays a critical role in the film. The association of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar has been strong ever since they teamed up for Hera Feri.

Sohail Khan to continue as the judge of Comedy Circus

Sohail khan will continue to be the judge for the next season of the immensly popular show Comedy Circus on Sony Entertainment Television. He will give company Archana Puran Singh who has been a permanent feature on the show. The show will be telecast on Sony TV every Saturday and Sunday, starting from January 7 - the first Saturday of the year.

It was reported that Sohail Khan would no more judge the show and that he will be soon replaced by a new judge. Sohail Khan war the judge of the 15th finale of Comedy Circus, which started in the year 2007. Like some of the past seasons, it was Kapil Sharma who again won this prestigeous comedy competition.

The new season of Comedy Circus will be known as Kahani Comedy Circus Ki. In the new season too there will be some old faces like Siddhart Jadhav, Kapil Sharma among others.
