The storm raised by Veena Malik had hardly settled when Golshifteh
Farahani came back to raise it for the second time hurriedly. Golshifteh
Farahani is a little known Paris-based Iranian actress. She has been banned
from coming back to her home country. She is alleged to have posed nude for a French
magazine.
Even the Iranian government has come forward to stress the
fact that Golshifteh Farahani is not welcome in Iran anymore. The 29 year old
actress has posed for Madame Le Figaro. This is termed as an act that is certainly
against the Islam.
It was Golshifteh Farahani herself who came forward to say
that the Iranian government sent her a communication saying that she need not
travel back to the country as they did not need the services of any artists or
actors. “You may offer your artistic services somewhere else”, what the communiqué
read.
This is not the first time for Golshifteh Farahani to be in the
news. Some time back, she was seen topless in a short black-and-white film
Corps et Âmes. She had also posted a ‘bare-chested’ picture of her on Facebook.
