ABCD 2, the sequel to ABCD has crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark
at the box office. That makes it the second film in this year to enter this
elite club. The film is in its third week now, and has already pocketed Rs.
101.91 crotes.
The film is directed by Remo D’Souza and stars Varun Dhawan
and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. With the success of the film churning
cash, Varun Dhawan has become the latest Bollywood star to have a film in the
Rs. 100 crore club.

What’s more interesting is the fact that this is the
directorial debut for Remo D’Souza. One must say that’s a dream beginning especially
for Remo D’Souza and his team. The film was released on 19th June and since
then has been making steady progress earning handsome cash at the BO.
We are in the second half of 2015 and we only have two films
in the 100 crore club. The first was Tanu Weds Manu Returns and now ABCD 2. On the
other hand, this is the second film for Sharddha Kapoor in 100 crore club.
Her first film in that club was Ek Villain and had a
resounding response from her fans.
