Life was tough for Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan at the Mumbai
airport. Sonal was returning from Macau where she had gone to attend an awards function.
This is when she was accosted at the airport by the officials of the customs. The
reason was that Sonal was seen carrying brands of high cost as well as high quality.
It did not take a minute for the officials to take the
action, which they always do at the drop of a hat. Sonal was actually carrying
bags that she had bought from the Hong Kong international airport. There was
nothing that could defend Sonal and neither could she say anything in her
defense.
The only thing that saved her was paying a fine, which she
had no option but to do. There was no getting away for the Jannat
actress. She was finally let go only after paying the fine of Rs. 85,000.
