Pooja Bhatt has come out to speak openly about her divorce
from her husband Manish Makhija. The couple parted ways after 11 years of
marriage. Showing her intense feelings about the separation, Pooja said the
certificates do not make or break any relationships.
The film maker tweeted her feelings on the micro-blogging
site. She said that she had lived life on her own terms and refused to perform
on what other people think. She further added that life makes a difference to
marriages and relationships, while certificates do not.
As Pooja made the announcement on Twitter, there was a series
of tweets as the former actor spoke her heart out. She also said that the
divorce does not mean calling each other names. ‘We hold each other in highest
esteem’, Pooja added.
One of her tweets read that people – both her friends and
well wishers or anyone for that matter, now can speculate whatever they wish.
As far as her film career is concerned, Pooja is busy working
on her upcoming film titled Cabret.
