Poonam Pandey’s Nasha posters still raising storms

The fiery storm over the intimate Nasha posters of Poonam Pandey just doesn’t seem to die down even in the rainy days. Well, how will it when the poster itself says “Get Wet Happy Monsoon.” That is one thing that will never go well with the traditional Indian culture still prevalent in the country.

As the date of release of the film gets nearer, there is a lot of publicity going on for the film irrespective of what the outcome is. And yes, the controversies are always surrounding Poonam Pandey and her controversial Nasha posters in various parts of the country.

It was the Shiv Sena – a prominent political party in Maharashtra that saw red when the huge posters of Poonam Pandey were on display in broad daylight. Some Shiv Sainiks tore the posters down in various parts of Mumbai including Mahim, Lower Parel and Borivali.

The posters showing Poonam in a bikini in a backless pose was too hot to handle for the city and the end result was taking the posters down in an unexpected way for the production house.

Nasha posters featuring Poonam Pandey burnt in Mumbai

Poonam Pandey faced heat as her Nasha posters were burnt in Mumbai. The posters were obviously bold and were not deemed good to be seen so openly by the common public. Poonam has always been in the thick of the controversies and the burning of her posters is the latest thing to happen.

The news came from the Mahim area of Mumbai where people took to the streets, who came in a group and tore off the posters that showed some intimacy. After tearing the posters, they set them on fire. This incident had taken place on July 20.

Earlier, on July 19, the Nasha posters faced the ire of the people in Delhi as well, where people burnt the posters there too. This happened in the Seemapuri area of northwest Delhi. This group of people even approached the police and complained about the posters.

As far as Poonam Pandey is concerned, she was shocked to hear these reports. However, she said that she was ready to apologize to the people if they in any way felt offended due to images on the posters.

She however said that the film has a lot to offer apart from what there is on the posters.

Poonam Pandey says she enjoyed shooting for Nasha

The queen of controversy, Poonam Pandey has been busy shooting for her first ever film, titled Nasha. We had brought to you the first picture of Poonam posing for a poster sometime back. There had been a lull and no news from Poonam about the developments about the film for some time now.

However, it is hard to keep Poonam out of the news for a long time. She loves speaking about the bold scenes has is doing for the film. She said that she was a bold person herself and that is why loved doing the bold scenes as well.

She added, “I am here to entertain the audience and I am doing my job”. Well, there certainly looks a lot of professionalism in this sentence. The shooting of the film began in Mahabaleshwar. Mahabaleshwar is a hill station and shooting there in these winter days was certainly not easy.

Some of the sequences were to be shot out in the open. So that was a bit of a challenge for the crew. However, it was comparatively easy shooting indoors. And one of the most prominent indoor shoot was Poonam's first scene which was a candlelight bedroom scene.
