How Important Are Babies In Our Lives
A baby, a kid, a child, an infant. Whatever may you term it as. A baby, a small kid is a great medium to connet socially. Now why I am saying this is because I have experienced this all myself. I have some neighbours here who have small babies and kids. When they were not parents, there would be very low and small instances when we would talk or mingle with each other. And the intesity too was not that strong. But now they have small kids who love very very cute and innocent, I feel like loving them. Loving them for what they are. It's the babies who have made us talk again. It is not like that we were not on talking terms or we had ever quarrled, but the new medium of these kids is one of its own ways. The babies made us talk again means that I could not resist the temptation to adore them and praise them for their inosance. If anyone raises this question about such kids, I will completely agree with this view of yours. The coming and going of guests do increase once a baby has taken birth in your house. You then increase the responsibility on yourself that you too need to attend any such function at those guests' house who had once visited you. I think all in all, a baby who does not have even the slightest of notions of what is going on around does become a good medium to boost your social life.

Each one can give you a hundred examples and support his answer and each time the answer might seem to be true. Because you have chosen a subjective term to ask your answer 'best'. Anything for that matter can be good, better or best. Husband-wife, brother-sister, father-daughter etc. all these can be best and worst in their own ways and not all can agree with the same answer each and every time. But I think the relationship of a mother is THE BEST in this world. A mother is the only person in one's life who is totally honest and unselfish in her approach towards her children. Even if the kid is troubling his mother, still a mother is ready to accept such troubles. After all, a woman cannot be a mother without taking any troubles, can she? They say, the delivery of a woman is her second birth. When a woman gives birth, she too is born again. And I would say, along with her are born the qualities of love, sacrifice, unselfishness etc. All other relations can be fake, but never a mother's. The other relations are no where even nearer to the relation that a mother shares with her kids.

Kareena Too Busy These Days
Professionalism is a part of profession. If you are professional only then can you remain in the race. Luck will not help each time. There are such actors and actresses who are dedicated their work. Kareena Kapoor is one of such pros. She is currently busy shooting for ‘Golmaal 3’ in Goa.
However, she was suffering from fever for some days but still somehow managed to keep shooting. How long can this go on, thought her colleagues. The shooting was cancelled off and Bebo was advised to get some much-needed rest. However, the star cast was having a merry time in spite of the absence of Kareena.

A Stitch In Time - By Prasad Dhumane
Time, money and energy all are lost due to just simple things not being taken care of at the right time. A stitch in time saves nine.
Sandip stumbled over something in the dark and hurt himself.
“Oh my god! What was that? I seem to have stumbled over and broken the bottle of the cough syrup. Who kept in the way like this nonsense? All the medicine is lost now. And moreover I hurt myself too.”
“Make sure that you keep your eyes open while walking and stop complaining.” Sandip’s wife, Rakhi answered back.
“What?” Sandip was flabbergasted at what his wife said. Instead of helping him she was retorting back at him. “So, you are expecting me to see in the dark, uh? Do you think I have got any supernatural vision? Get the matchbox and light the lantern.”
“That’s what I am finding.” Rakhi said while groping in the dark.
“Finding? You don’t know where you have kept it? All women are of a kind. When will they learn to help their husbands, God knows.”
“What should I do after all? Should I look after the kids, do the household chores, or keep running after the things that you often misplace?” Rakhi said getting frustrated at her husband’s behavior. “You don’t know how to appreciate good things. You can spot the negative things only. I am frustrated by living with you.”
“And who wants to live with you anyway? Why don’t you get lost from my house?” Sandip said while lying down comfortably on the sofa.
Rakhi came with the lighted lantern in her hand. Her eyes fell on Sandip.
“Wow, Hubby dear, you are lying down comfortably and here I have to run after everything. You are a very good helping hand, good.”
“Then what do you think I should do in this dark? I cannot even see anything here. Do you think, I am a nocturnal animal?” Sandip shouted back at his wife.
“Aren’t you one? You know how to come home late in the nights and I also know the reasons for your late comings.”
Sandip did not say anything.
“Speak now, why are you quite? Is there anything to say now?” Rakhi demanded.
“This is my life and I will live it as I want. Di d you get it?”
And the argument continued. Such types of arguments are often heard in most of the houses. Simple works such as putting things in place are ignored and a spat becomes the order of the day.

Getting Ready
Many members have contacted about posting stories. The ball sets rolling from Wednesday - September 1, 2010. It's a repetition of sorts to say that, KEEP YOUR WORK SAFE. IT REMAINS YOUR VERY OWN PROPERTY. There is no question of us asking for stories as our own property. So, get ready and wait for the month to turn over.
Rules For Posting Your Stories
• No adult stories please.
• No stories that are targeted at any organization, particular person, religion, caste etc. will be accepted.
• No racial stories please.
• Stories can be submitted with YOUR OWN copyright to it.
• There should be a short summery of what the story is about. The summery will not counted towards the length of the story.
• The story should be at least of 450 words long.
• It is up to you how you want to end the story – with a comedy or a tragedy. But there should at least be one conundrum that you should deal with and come with a solution within the story itself.
• Your story should have a suitable title with reference to the story.
• Stories should only be in English.
• The story should be your own creation.
• If it comes to our notice that, your story is someone else’s creation and that you have posted as your own, it will be removed without notifying you. However, we are not obliged to check your stories for duplicate content. So be careful! Such stories would not be considered at all.
• It is our prerogative considering all the rules of the contest.
• There will also be voting on stories. You can promote your story by asking your friends to vote for the same. You yourself, though, cannot vote for your own story.
• You can invite your friends to vote for you once the poll starts.
• To allow others to vote for you, you should put in your real name in the story as the author. This name will be put up on the voting board.
• The decision of our team will be binding and there will be no communication concerning any decision.
• The award winning author of the story will be paid through PayPal only. Winner will be contacted duly. The award winning is a surprise and will be declared at the right time. But be relaxed that there is going to be a cash award and this will be our responsibility.
• You agree that you allow us to publish these stories in whichever format we choose in the future and that you will have no right to take any sort of objection whatsoever. However, if we happen to publish the stories, as stated above, it will be under your name only. So again, it is advisable to put in your real name as the author, instead of any penname. If you have any such objection, it is better not to submit your story at all.
