Veena Malik did manage to remain in the news. This time she is in the news because, she is ready to sing for a Bollywood movie. This seems to be a good reason for her to be in the news. However, there were mostly the wrong reasons for her to be in the news like her nude photoshoot or when shewent missing or even her swayamvar and not forget her advocacy forhomosexuality.

However, it is understood that there will something positive to look for Veena Malik for this particular news. If the reports are to be believed, Veena is likely to sing a song for the Kannada remake of The Dirty Picture. Veena said that it was singing that she was really attracted to and always wanted to peruse her passion.

Apart from that she will also be singing for a film in Bollywood in which she is also expected to star. Veena is also busy working on the music album she is closely associated with.

Asin hopes to continue in Bollywood

The south sensation Asin is in no mood to go back to her home – the south film industry and is planning to stay on in Bollywood. Asin said that she feels comfortable in Bollywood. She also said that she learnt quite a few things here and so also the style. The south sexy lady says that she is also learning the language in a better way.

Asin Thottumkal will be next in the film Housefull 2. The film is scheduled to release on April 5.

However, Asin did not forget to mention that she has constantly remained in touch with her friends back home. It seems that Asin has made enough friends in Bollywood now. She also added that the producers and the directors miss her very much. But she showed her professional side when she said that it will be a while before she does a film in Tamil or Telugu.

Looks like the Salman Khan magic has enchanted Asin to the fullest. After doing Ready with Salman Khan, Asin is certainly ready to make her next film be a ‘Housefull’ affair. Will Asin be seen in a bikini? Let’s wait and watch.

No takers for Paris Hilton in Bollywood?

The much talked about trip of Paris Hilton to India has finally begun. She arrived in the economical capital of India, Mumbai, yesterday (Saturday). She is in India for a three-day visit. However, Bollywood seemed lesser perturbed by the socialite’s arrival here. It was yet another usual day in the life of Bollywood and the actors.

There was socialite Queenie Dhody, to welcome Paris at the J W Marriot hotel. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonakshi Sinha, Abhay Deol, and Arjun Rampal along with Imran Khan were some of the guests who were invited to attend the bash. However, most of them could not make themselves available at that specific time.

But among those who attended the bash, were Sushmita Sen, Bipasha Basu and Kangana Ranaut were present. If you remember, we had reported some days ago that, Paris Hilton was thinking of suing Kangana Ranaut (and yet she was present with Ms. Hilton!)
Meanwhile, after landing in India, the hotel heiress said that she found Indian women to be very “exotic and gorgeous”.

“Had the best time at my party last night! Met so many amazing people! The women in India are so exotic and gorgeous!” she tweeted after having her first encounter with India.

Myleene Klass says she’s offered a Bollywood flick

The British singer Myleene Klass was in India for the shooting of a documentary film. While here in India, Myleene Klass says that she was offered a movie in Bollywood. The reason? Myleene says she got a lot of positive comments for the figure she maintained after her pregnancy. She was in India last month.

She could meet a lot of producers here in India, due to her friend and Oscar winner A R Rehman. The Mozart of Madras was also interviewed by Myleene Klass in Chennai. Myleene Klass is certainly excited about the offer she has got.

A close friend of Myleene Klass also seconded the news item that the singer has indeed been offered role in Bollywood. However, there were no details as to who offered the role to her, nor were there any news about the film.

Myleene’s friend also said that the people in India were excited to see her and her figure. They specially loved her curves and her exotic and sexy looks. Myleene Klass, who is 33 years old, was in India just three months after becoming mother for the second time.

Asin is short of a close friend in Bollywood

The south beauty Asin Thottumkal has done films in Bollywood with actors like Ajay Devgan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan – with Salman being her latest hero in the film Ready. She is also awaiting her forthcoming release Housefull 2 with Akshay Kumar. In spite of all this, Asin says that she does not have any close friend in Bollywood yet.

But what makes her think this when she has got the chance to work with so many renowned, famous and popular actors? Well, when we are asking this question, we are confusing the professional life with personal life. This is exactly what Asin has sorted out. She knows better than us where to draw the line.

As a matter of fact, almost all the actors she has worked with are seniors to her. Asin is just 26 years old while all the other actors are senior to her by around 15 years at least. That is why she has a lot of respect for them and holds them in high esteem.

Secondly, Asin feels that it takes a lot of time and efforts to build in a relationship which can be addressed as close friends.

In the meantime, Asin has been linked with Bollywood actor Neil Ninin Mukesh. Or let us say it has been vice versa. However, Neil has come forward to deny all the baseless news, terming them as rumors.

Mallika Sherawat Turns A Singer?

How will be your reaction when you get to hear that the lady who has given you loads and loads of eye pleasure is still not enough over entertaining you. What would your options be when asked about the next level of the super entertainer called Mallika Sherawat? Well, believe it or not, Mallika is turning a singer.
She will be ‘seen’ as a playback singer with her upcoming film ‘Hisss’. She is teaming up with John Lennon's son Julian to record one of the songs in the film. She has even recorded a song in LA some days back which will be used in the promos of the film.
Mallika has lent her voice for a couple of songs in the film. In one of them she will be singing the song composed by Julian Lennon. The second number is arranged by German composer Alexander Von Bubenheim who has also scored the background score for the film. Her promos will arrive in India in September.
‘Hiss’ is slated to be released in October. The satisfying thing for India and for Bollywood is that there are three Indian in the film, Mallika Sherawat, Irrfan Khan and also Divya Dutta. The film is directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch.

Kaveri Says No To Dummy

We have had some examples in the recent past when we saw some delicate, beautiful leading ladies of Bollywood carrying out some dangerous and heavy duty scenes. We saw Katrina Kaif doing such macho scenes recently. We also heard that Kareena Kapoor is also following suit in her upcoming movie ‘Agent Vinod’.
Kaveri Jha too lines herself up in the same category. Producer Anjum Rizvi's next project is ‘Flat’ and Kaveri is one of the prominent faces in the film. It is a film with a horror plot, the producer has said. For one of the shooting sequence, it needed Kaveri to jump off the 15th floor of a building still under construction.
However, Kaveri took everyone by surprise when she decided to go ahead and do the stunt herself. The producer admits that he was ‘amazed and nervous at the same time’. ‘Flat’ is directed by debutant director Hemant Madhukar.

It’s A Race Between Prachi And Chitrangada

There is still no thought of unity between producer Ekta Kapoor and director Sudhir Mishra as to who would be the leading lady of ‘Driver’. There are these creative differences which are often to be seen between the professionals in the entertainment industry. Ekta and Sudhir made talks about such a film, keeping in mind Prachi Desai.
Now the director is insisting on Chitrangada Singh in the lead role at the same time as Ekta is not ready to budge. She thinks Prachi is best suited to play the lead role as she looks much in her twenties. On the other hand, the director wants Chitrangada Singh in the lead role. He thinks that she is mature enough to play the lead role.
According to the close sources, there is a fear that if the impasse continues, the project itself might not even take off. Now, it’s wait-and-watch for us.
