Speaking anything about sex is considered a taboo in the
civil society. However, Veena Malik is one such bold lady who has gone on to
speak and advocate homosexuality. She is one actress from Bollywood, who has
taken a stance in support of same sex marriage.
However, Veena Malik is not the first lady who has come
forward to make her views heard. Before her, there were two popular ladies who
have done the same thing – supporting the lesbians. Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian
had also raised their voices supporting the same cause as what Veena seems to
be doing now.
I openly support the LGBT (lesbian,gay, bisexual and
transgender) community, Veena said and went on to admit that she does not feel
shy or reserved about speaking on the issue.
Veena put forth the example of the US President Barak Obama
who is also advocating the gay marriages. She felt that everyone should support
this cause from all over the world.
