The south sensation, Ileana D’Cruz will kick start her career
in Bollywood with the film Barfi, by Anurag Basu. But at the moment, she
has gone back to her backyard in Hyderabad, where she will be working in the
Telugu venture Devudu Chesina Manushulu by Jagannadh Puri. She has been
cast opposite Ravi Teja.
In Barfi and Devudu Chesina Manushulu, Ileana
D’Cruz will be seen in entirely opposite roles. When on one hand she will play
a simpleton in the Bollywood film, on the other, she will be seen as a seductress
in the Telugu film. She will be seen as a taxi driver in this film.
Sources close to the film are terming her character in Devudu
Chesina Manushulu as a phataka girl. Jagannadh Puri has also said
that he has worked many times with Ileana. However, she will be seen in a
completely different avatar in the film.
