Katrina Kaif ready for action again – with Rs. 7 crores

After seeing Katrina Kaif doing the stunts in the film Ek Tha Tiger, advertisers are trying to cash in on the new-found talent of the leading lady of Bollywood. Katrina is likely to feature in an ad and it will also be full of action and stunts. But you will be surprised to know that it is just an ad of a paint company.

But then why does it need stunts and action, after all? Well, that is how Kat has been accepted by the people and there is nothing wrong if the paint company is trying to get more out of it. It is learnt that she has been paid the highest amount ever for a Bollywood actress.

If the reports are to be believed, Katrina will be paid a whopping sum of Rs. 7 crores for the same. The final draft of the ad is yet to be finalized, though. It was also being said that there would be Shah Rukh Khan in the ad along with Katrina as well.

However, the idea of having SRK might be dropped and Katrina will feature in the ad alone.

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma to share screen again

It will not be exaggeration to say that Shah Rukh Khan has been a lucky mascot for Anushka Sharma. Ever since Anushka Sharma made her debut in Bollywood with Rab Ne Bana di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka has been making almost every of her films to be a talk of the town.

No wonder, she feels that SRK is lucky for her. And we think she is lucky as she has got the chance to work with SRK again. She will be seen with SRK in a Yash Raj project. The film has not yet been titled. The shooting for the film has not yet started.

She said that she did never think she would ever have got the chance to work with a legend like SRK. It was even more special, especially as it was the first film for Anushka.

In the meantime, Anushka is also shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.

Offering hefty sums to Bollywood superstars is nothing to be surprised about. Katrina Kaif could be one of the latest beneficiaries of such an offer. The lovely lady has been offered this huge sum to appear only for 10 minutes. She has been asked to make this small time appearance in the Southern Indian city of Kochi.

No doubt, Katrina is a sought after Bollywood actress. She is face that is common to every house today. That is the reason why the organizers are trying to rope her in to walk the ramp for a fashion show. The dates have not yet been announced.

It is worth taking a note that, southern actors or actresses do not fetch the same or even half of the amount what goes in the Bollywood celebrity’s kitty. That is why they are in such a great demand there.

Shah Rukh Khan keen to work with Vidya Balan

After the resounding success of The Dirty Picture, the hot and sexy Vidya Balan has become everyone's favorite. The latest in her line of fans is none other than the King of Bollywood himself. Shah Rukh Khan expressed his desire to work with Vidya Balan. Of late, SRK has been praising Vidya a lot.

Yes, Vidya deserves all the praise from someone like SRK who is a seasoned actor himself. Shah Rukh said that he has not yet watched The Dirty Picture. However, he said that he had watched Vidya’s previous films like Ishqiya and Paa and also added that he loved the films a lot.

Nathalia Pinheiro wants to act in Bollywood films

The Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2012, Nathalia Pinheiro has expressed her desire to act in Bollywood films. Not many may know, but Nathalia Pinheiro, an Indo-Brazilian model, is a big fan of the King of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan. And it is the SRK with whom she wants to work in Bollywood.

She said that she was a big fan Bollywood movies and is carrying a dream of finding a place for herself in the Hindi film industry. She also said that she wanted to sharpen her acting skills apart from the diction on which she is working as well as the skill of dancing.

If she gets a film in Bollywood, do not be surprised that it would be her first film on the Indian soil. She has by now pocketed a southern film. Her another venture could be with an international brand. Things do look pretty well for the new Calendar Girl for now.

Kristen Stewart wants to work with Shah Rukh Khan

The beautiful Kristen Stewart is in complete awe of Shah Rukh Khan and wants to work with him. Kristen thinks that King Khan is an epitome of romance and is needless to say that the Twilight actress a big fan of his. “I am a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan who is an epitome of romance in Bollywood”, is what Kristen Stewart said in her own words.

She said that if she were to get a chance of working with SRK, she would like to work in the second part of the film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn with him. The beautiful lady is just 21 years old. She also loves Bollywood films and feels that she would show up in a movie one day.

Don’t take her words for granted, because, Kristen Stewart is learning Hindi nowadays. She said that the promos of Ra.One impressed her a lot. She also promised that she would certainly watch the movie.

Ra.One doing well in cinemas

The much anticipated opening of Ra.One might not have broken the record set by Salman Khan’s Bodyguard. However the film is certainly eyeing records in the Hindi film industry. Bodyguard had grossed more than Rs. 21 crores on the opening day. Ra.One however failed around Rs. 3 crores short of that target.

The film opened to around 3000 screens in the domestic market – India. 500 screens showed the film in 3D. The film was released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil in India occupying around 3100 screens. On the other hand, Bodyguard had opened to lesser – 2750 screens. It is expected that the sci-fi earned about Rs. 15 to 16 crores through the Hindi version alone.

A single day grossing for any film until now has been Bodyguard followed by 3 Idiots. It is expected that the sic-fi has toppled 3 Idiots in terms of a single day grossing. But due to the Diwali festival, there was not full occupancy for all the screens.

But trade analysts have something more positive to predict about Ra.One. According to them Thursday could be the most important day for the film. It may even topple Bodyguard’s single day earning too. There has been a good amount of bookings for Thursday already.

There has been a lot of expenditure on the overall film so to say. Around 3500 VFX shots have been used in the film and this could be a record in itself. The work of special effects was outsourced to various studios in Paris, London and Bangkok apart from the United States, of course. As much as Rs. 52 crores were spent on marketing alone.

Khan Queen will shoot with Aamir Khan during Ra.One’s premier

The celebrity status of the Khan Queen has brought Kareena Kapoor in problems. She will be with Aamir Khan at the time when Ra.One premiers in Toronto, Canada. She had to make a choice between Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor preferred Mr. Perfectionist.

The zero-figure girl Kareena Kapoor gave more preference to the shooting of Aamir Khan starter Dhuaan than being present at the premier Ra.One. The premier and the shooting of Dhuaan clash. That is why Kareena Kapoor will not be able to attend the premier in Canada.

Both ways Kareena had to choose one Khan and this time around, it was Aamir Khan. There is no enough ‘evidence’ to show why she has chosen Aamir over Shah Rukh. It could potentially still be the hangover of the success of 3 Idiots. However, there are other reasons apart from what we are guessing.

A source close to Kareena says that she needs to take some special training before she can shoot for some action sequences for the Aamir Khan film and she needs for that. However, Kareena will try to be available for the London and Dubai premiers later on.

Did Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor split due to Shah Rukh Khan?

If reports are to be believed, then the split between Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor was due to none other than Shah Rukh Khan. But one wonders, what brought about this split? Neither Priyanka Chopra nor Shah Rukh Khan was ever linked with romantic relationship. Then what is the reason?

Robot has done a lot of good to the fans – given never like before entertainment. Ra.One is now next in the line. However, is it true that Robot has come to the rescue of Ra.One? Well, at least the photos suggest so. Have a look at this image and it will speak volumes for you.

Shah Rukh Khan will not visit Bigg Boss for Ra.One promo

Currently Shah Rukh Khan is busy promoting his film Ra.One. However, he will not be a guest on the reality show Bigg Boss. He will not be there for reasons best known only to him and probably many others. As a matter of fact, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy visiting many reality shows to promote his film.

However, the refusal to be a guest on Bigg Boss has more to do with the presence of Salman Khan. Actually, SRK said that he would be touring the city during the time when he was expected to visit Bigg Boss. The lack of time is the common answer that has come to the fore again.

Shah Rukh Khan has already been a guest on India’s Got Talent, L’ll Champs and Just Dance. SRK said that there are all the people associated with these shows who are his friends and so he could not help but go there. He said that he went to IGT because he is good friends with Kirron Kher. He further said that he visited JD just because Hrithik Roshan is his friend and had invited him.

But Mr. King Khan, isn’t Sanjay Dutt your good friend? Then why did you not choose to go there? However, SRK will be on the show Kaun Banega Crorepati. It seems SRK preferred Amitabh Bachchan over Salman Khan.

Now SRK under the threat of a legal notice

Stars seem to be against the Bollywood stars these days. After Amitabh Bachchan, it is SRK – Shah Rukh Khan who might be served a legal notice. What a co-incidence it is. As Amitabh Bachchan was under the possibility of getting a legal notice by a businessman, so also is the possibility that SRK may be sued by a businessman.

So here are the details. Shah Rukh Khan is busy promoting his upcoming film Ra. One. For the promotion, he has also launched a mobile game. However, a businessman, one Shakir Aga, claims that it was his idea of the mobile game and that SRK stole it. Shakir Aga has based his business in Bangalore.

According to Shakir Aga’s version, the idea came to him and he discussed it with Lida Moghaghegh, who is a Persian by nationality and also a popular TV artist. The two had met in March last year in the United States. The information may have reached Mr. Blesson Oommen, who is the Chief Finance Officer of Red Chillies Entertainment.

According to Shakir Aga, there were umpteen numbers of efforts to meet Blesson Oommen. However, did not get any response for the mails, phone calls or fax messages. There is no word yet from SRK. Let’s see what he has to say on the entire issue.

Juhi Chawla unhappy with Shah Rukh Khan

According to the latest reports doing the rounds on the different media, actress Juhi Chawla is unhappy with her co-star Shah Rukh Khan. It seems that the soft-spoken Juhi has finally erupted as she was silent for more than a year now. As a matter of fact, she is not happy with SRK as she thinks, he did not give due credit to her brother Bobby Chawla.

Priyanka Chopra’s stunt double in Don 2 Bibi passes away

The body double, who was actually a stunt double for Priyanka Chopra in her film Don 2: The chase continues, passed away yesterday. The girl, named Bibi came from Berlin. There was no specific reason yet found out how and under which circumstances Bibi left this world.
It’s needless to say that Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra were the first to post their condolence messages on Twitter. “It's shocking how unpredictable life can be. Bibi, my stunt double from Don 2 passed away. Taught me all I did in the film”, Priyanka posted.
Shah Rukh Khan also expressed his feelings for the young lady. He posted, “A prayer from all in Don 2 for our friend & stunt girl Bibi...who left us for a better place. Lov u (sic)”
Though both the leading stars of the film were saddened by the death of Bibi, none of them made any kind of statement as what might have caused Bibi’s death.

In a shocking but good news, Bollywood actor Raj Kiran is very much alive. He has been traced to an asylum in the United States. Another good news is that, the entire film industry, specifically Bollywood has come out in full support of Raj Kiran. The big stars have extended their support not only to the actor, but also to his family.

Shah Rukh Khan was amongst the firsts to speak about Raj Kiran. SRK said that he is not aware about all the details. He however said that in spite of this, the industry will stand by him in the hour of crisis. SRK even went on to say that Raj Kiran is one of the finest talents Bollywood has ever seen.

Riteish Deshmukh building muscles for Housefull 2

If the reports are to be believed, then Riteish Deshmukh, one of the leading stars of Housefull 2, is building his muscles for the movie. Director Sajid Khan, however, has not revealed the looks of Riteish Deshmukh as he wants to keep his looks a secret – which is no most common in the film world.

Riteish has been kept on a special diet to do the needful. Actually, Riteish is working on his muscle which he is expected to put for the film. As Sajid Khan thinks, he can be successful in shocking his audience with the new looks of Riteish Deshmukh.

What is more exciting through the film’s point of view is that, there is John Abraham for competition for Riteish Deshmukh. John is already famous for his macho looks unlike Riteish Deshmukh. So, obviously, Riteish will have to work a lot harder than John, at this moment, to get in the shape the director wants of him.
