Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur to marry in December

After the famous marriage of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur are set to tie the knot. If things fall in place, it will be a second bigwig marriage in Bollywood in around two months. The date for the marriage is fixed as December 14.

The two love birdies have been dating each other for at least a couple of years now. The two had met on the sets of the film No One Killed Jessica and since then there was no looking back. The dating was really a secret affair and was kept a secret for quite a long time.

After the success of the film, No One Killed Jessica, there was no looking back for Vidya. Her next film – The Dirty Picture proved to be the highlight of her career as it was one of the most finely accepted films for Vidya. After that Kahaani too became a hit and Vidya had three hit films in a row.

Vidya will now be seen in her next film titled Ghanchakkar. She will also be seen in the sequel to another film called Pyaar Ke Side Effects.

Vidya Balan to go on a vacation with family

Life has been hectic for Vidya Balan. And now it is time for the actress to go on a vacation. The holiday destination is likely to be the Caribbean. The actress understandably needs some time off after her busy schedule with films like The Dirty Picture and Kahaani.

A Caribbean cruise has been booked by the actress for around 15 to 18 days. The other family members will also be on board. Among those who will be present will be her sister Priya along with her brother-in-law. Vidya’s parents will also join their children on the voyage.

We should not forget that the boyfriend of the Vidya Balan, Siddhartha Roy Kapur, will be however absent from the trip. As a matter of fact, this particular tour is being planned for a long time now. Since August last year when Vidya became an aunt, they have been planning the vacation. It has finally materialized now.

Until the family leaves for the vacation, the actress will complete the shooting of Ghanchakkar.

Vidya Balan has a feeling of being a Bengali

The sex siren of Bollywood Vidya Balan, feels that she has a feeling as if she is a Bengali. Well, there is nothing abnormal as such for Vidya Balan. The only thing that makes her think on these lines is that she has shot around three films in the city. No wonder, Vidya Balan wants to visit the City of Joy time and again.

Chronologically speaking, Vidya has shot Bhalo Theko, Parineeta and Kahaani in West Bengal as well as Kolkata. She was at the place for inaugurating the Sreebhumi Sporting Club. It resembles the Meenakshi Temple of Madurai.

Well, Vidya wasn’t claiming to be feeling like a Bengali for nothing. She talked with the people there in excellent Bengali as if it were her mother tongue. She further added that Kolkata is her second home.

Vidya didn’t forget to mention that her third film in the city Kahaani was shot during the Durga Pooja festival last year. She feels the film has a special blessings of the goddess.

Vidya Balan wishes to a film on Unhooked

After essaying the character of Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan wants to explore more though Unhooked – novel by Munmun Ghosh. In one of her latest statements about her preferred roles, Vidya would enjoy playing a role in the film based on this book.

However, this does not mean that Vidya is ready to act in such a film by any means. She has her own terms and conditions laid out. She says that if she will ever do such a film, it will depend on who has done it and how it is being interpreted. Looks like Vidya has become a bit choosy about her roles.

The film highlights the life of three women who have high ambitions in their career. They also are in relationship with other men. However, it is their quest to do better in life and achieve their goals, both in personal as well as professional lives.

Hot and sexy scenes is not being bold for Esha Gupta

The definition of boldness is different for Esha Gupta. According to her, hot and sexy scenes played on the screen are not being bold. Any skin show cannot be termed as bold, Esha thinks, who has already done such hot and steamy scenes on screen. This is how the actress, who was also a former model, spoke her views out.`

She stated the examples of Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor in films like The Dirty Picture and Jab We Met, respectively. She thinks that both the actresses were essaying strong characters in the film. They had the ability to carry the film on their own, Esha said. Esha also appreciated the role played by Vidya Balan in the film Kahaani.

As far as Esha is concerned, she has had her share of boldness on screen. Some of the recent films that could be stated are Jannat 2 and Raaz 3. She has even been involved in a nude scene for Raaz3. Her upcoming film is Chakravyuh.

Vidya Balan is an actress of Malayali origin, though she has hardly lived in Kerala. She is likely to become a brand ambassador of a new range of apparel to be brought into the market by a jewelry brand.

Vidya Balan’s Kahaani is hit

After dishing out critically and well-acclaimed performances in No One Killed Jessica and The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan’s next film Kahaani has been a hit. Though the box office did not ring and collected only Rs. 2.95 cr. on the opening day, it was enough for the critics to praise Vidya’s performance.

Kahaani, made with a budget of Rs. 8, performed well on Saturday, rather than on the opening day. On Saturday, the film grossed Rs. 4.5 cr. keeping the trend in mind, the film is certain to perform well in the first week.

Vidya plays the character of a software programmer who comes all the way from London to Kolkata in a desperate search of her husband. Her husband is the father of Vidya’s yet to be born child.

There is no major release for the next week. That should also help Kahaani to perform well in the coming days. It will soon run into good profits, the men concerned, feel.

Sujoy Ghosh saves Vidya Balan from a terrible fall

Vidya Balan is currently shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s next film Kahaani. The actress who knows nothing more than dishing out pure entertainment was saved from a terrible fall that could have potentially hurt the beautiful lady a lot. It was the quick thinking of director Sujoy Ghosh that Vidya is hale and hearty.

The particular shot was on, on the Metro rail tracks. The shooting was in Kolkata when this incident happened. She had to run backwards on the platform. This is when she bumped against the weighing machine there. The impact was enough to make the 33-year-old actress trip.

Though everything was in place, no one thought about the weighing machine. As the director was right behind the lenses he gauged that Vidya was losing her balance and was in a danger of falling on the tracks. His presence of mind is really what saved Vidya Balan today.

However, the incident didn’t cause any interruption in the shooting schedule. Vidya was back on the sets as if nothing had happened.

Vidya Balan to take a break

Vidya Balan has been working non-stop for the past couple of years now. It has been hectic two years for Ms. Balan. The Dirty Picture, her last released film, gave her a lot of popularity. But now it seems that Vidya is exhausted and needs a break for the all good reasons.

The next film that Vidya Balan will be doing will not start for another two to three months. So that means, she has more time on her hands to peruse her interests or go to a trip to her favorite spot. However, Vidya seems to be interested in doing some ‘dirty dancing’.
