After essaying the character of
Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan wants to explore more though
Unhooked – novel by Munmun Ghosh. In one of her latest statements about her
preferred roles, Vidya would enjoy playing a role in the film based on this
book.
However, this does not mean that
Vidya is ready to act in such a film by any means. She has her own terms and
conditions laid out. She says that if she will ever do such a film, it will depend
on who has done it and how it is being interpreted. Looks like Vidya has become
a bit choosy about her roles.
The film highlights the life of
three women who have high ambitions in their career. They also are in
relationship with other men. However, it is their quest to do better in life
and achieve their goals, both in personal as well as professional lives.
Vidya Balan has received a lot of
praise after the dual success of The Dirty
Picture and Kahaani.
