Working with Amitabh Bachchan is a
dream for any actor. However, Sridevi proves to be the exception. If the
yesteryear reports are to be believed, then it should be mentioned that the
actress was not willing to work with Big B. But what was the reason for Sridevi
not working with AB?
It was in the 1980s when Sridevi
was on top of the world (Bollywood world) with film like Chandni, Nagina, Lamha
and Chalbaaz under her belt. There was no doubt that Sridevi wanted to do films
that kept her in the focus all the time. It simply means that the films should
be women-centric.
If she were to do films with AB
that would mean the script would be written keeping the Big B in mind. That would
potentially keep Sri out of the picture. However, it should be noted that Amitabh
Bachchan did a cameo appearance in Sridevi’s comeback film.
