Is Sridevi preparing Jhanvi for Bollywood?

Some days ago there was news about Sridevi and her daughter Jhanvi being seen in parties and in the media glare. However, Sridevi had said that she is just being with her daughter at different place and there’s nothing like she trying to project her teenage daughter for the films.

There are news reports doing the rounds that Sridevi is preparing her daughter for the Hindi film industry. Jhanvi is the eldest daughter of Sridevi. So, if the news is true, Sridevi is grooming her daughter as well as concentrating on her comeback as well. The senior pro is certainly multitasking these days.

Jhanvi was seen at the premier of her mother’s comeback film English Vinglish. She attracted a lot of attention and many people turned to see her again and again. There is no doubt that Sridevi wants her daughter Jhanvi to be the next big thing in Bollywood.

Jhanvi is cooperating too. She gave various poses when the photos were being clicked and shades of grooming were certainly visible in the young lady. However, Sri and Boney always maintain that there is no decision about Jhanvi’s career as yet.

Did Sridevi indeed refuse to work with Amitabh Bachchan

Working with Amitabh Bachchan is a dream for any actor. However, Sridevi proves to be the exception. If the yesteryear reports are to be believed, then it should be mentioned that the actress was not willing to work with Big B. But what was the reason for Sridevi not working with AB?

It was in the 1980s when Sridevi was on top of the world (Bollywood world) with film like Chandni, Nagina, Lamha and Chalbaaz under her belt. There was no doubt that Sridevi wanted to do films that kept her in the focus all the time. It simply means that the films should be women-centric.

If she were to do films with AB that would mean the script would be written keeping the Big B in mind. That would potentially keep Sri out of the picture. However, it should be noted that Amitabh Bachchan did a cameo appearance in Sridevi’s comeback film.

Mr. India 2 to come next year: Sridevi

The sequel of the hit film Mr. India, Mr. India 2, will go on the floors in the next year. The Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer Mr. India was one of the most memorable films in the career of both actors. Another hit film from Sridevi Himmatwala, is being re-made as a sequel.

Though she has not spoken a word about the sequel to Himmatwala, she is far more excited about the sequel to Mr. India. As far as the Himmatwala is concerned, Jeetendra and Sridevi was the leading pair in the film that hit the screens in the year 1983.

The remake of the film is considered to be the ambitious project of director Sajid Khan. Coming back to the Mr. India 2, Sridevi is obviously excited as it is the film her husband is involved with. There is still time for the sequel to go on the floors, though and may take some time.

Boney Kapoor has to first complete the film No Entry Mein Entry and only then the work of the sequel can start.

Raveena Tondon gets lead role in Gin Liya Asman

Like Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tondon will be making her comeback with the film Gin Liya Asman. The Mudassar Aziz and Anil Bohra film is directed by Rishi Despande. The beautiful lady was recently seen in the Amitabh Bachhan starrer Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap.

Now Raveena is coming back in leading roll of. The role of Raveena in this film is not a glamorous one. She is playing role of a mother of six year old boy. It seems it not hard for Ravenna to do it as she herself is a mother.

Gin Liya Asman is an emotional story, where you will find the various flavors of love, satisfaction sorrow and happiness. Raveena gave her best performance in Shool, Daman and Satta. She also won national award for Satta. Git Liya Asman may prove to be another Satta for Raveena.

In spite of a successful career, she is yet known as a mast mast girl. She is even now remembered for the ravishing dance to the number “tu chiz badi hai mast mast” from the film Mohra with Akshay Kumar.
