Isha Sharvani has become a role model for aspiring dancers due to her daring performance in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5. She actually performed her dance segment with a broken arm – literally, which was in a cast. As a matter of fact, she broke her arm during her practice sessions for the same show.

For Isha, steroids as well as pain-killers have been the order of the day. There were talks that the dancer might be forced to quit the show due to the injury. However, she proved everyone wrong by actually performing with a broken arm. She saw this opportunity as a challenge and did not back off.

In the semi-final, she had to perform a rope malkhamb, which she did with ease. Even though her arm was stuck at only one place, she managed to keep the judges spellbound by her performance. Madhuri Dixit is searching for a home in Mumbai

Ever since Madhuri Dixit relocated to India from the United States, she has constantly been in the news. One of the latest reasons to be is her frantic search for a shelter in the city of Mumbai. It is learnt that she is searching for a new house in the vicinity of Anushka Sharma’s house.

Madhuri said that ever since she has come back to Mumbai, she has been hunting for a house in the suburban city. There are many high-rise buildings in Versova. There are a lot of Bollywood stars that are located in the region where Madhur is scouring her new home.

As the family of the dancing star is growing – she has two sons, it is but natural that they are in need of some bigger place. The house hunting is a lengthy and time-consuming process. However, she has made a beginning and it looks like she will soon land in her dream home.

Madhuri Dixit is not a gangster to throw abuses

The yesteryear top heroine of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit will be seen in the next film by Anubhav Sinha. She will be seen in Gulab Gang. Madhuri said that she will not be seen as a gangster and so will not be heard using foul language.

Speaking about the movie, Madhuri said that she has never understood how and from where these words came from. As far as the movie is concerned, there is nothing abusive in it, she said. Speaking about the women in the film, Madhuri said that the women in the film are not gangsters, but they are vigilantes.

The film is centered on a group of women who are there to fight the injustice in the society. Soumik Sen is the director of the movie while Shilpa Shukla and Mahie Gill will also be seen in the movie. Once the monsoon season is over, the film will go on floors.

The movie is likely to be released on the Women’s Day, the next year.

Chitrangada Singh to do a Madhuri-like Sailaab

Chitrangada Singh has mostly been seen in off-beat films. However, the temptation of doing an item number was too hard to resist. Chitrangada will be seen in her first ever item number in Shirish Kunder’s Joker. The item number is reportedly inspired by the well-known song Sailaab portrayed by Madhuri Dixit.

Paying her due respects to Madhuri, Chitra said that you can only try doing the acts performed by Madhuri – you cannot do them. Chitrangada reported asked a whole range of questions to Farah Khan when she offered her the item song. In response, Farah said that it would be something similar to Madhuri Dixit’s Sailaab.

“You can't do a Madhuri, you can only try and do Madhuri” Chitrangada Singh said, further adding that they had a lot of fun doing the actual song. The clothing as well as the hairstyle has been kept close to the Sailaab look.

Chitrangada Singh said that she did not have enough time to rehearse for the song. However, the time that she got, got spent rehearsing the steps to prepare her for the second Sailaab.

Madhuri Dixit is said to have been quoting a huge price for doing films. The quotes are said to be as high as Rs. 5 crores. It is an amount which today’s top heroines like Kareena Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Katrina Kaif are quoting. Then how much would it make sense for a yesteryear actress to follow suit?

It is really a question to answer which producers or directors would be able to complete Madhuri’s requirements. But more importantly, who would go watch an aged Madhuri compared to the hot Vidya Balan or Kareena Kapoor? It is agreed that Madhuri is no less than a legend in the field of dancing, but to quote that big a price might look too difficult for the producers to digest.

Her comeback reality show Jhalak Dikhlaja was a huge success. She proved that even at the age of 44, she can be no less hot diva as compared to actresses 12-15 years than her. But what could have sparked the thought of quoting Rs. 5 crores as her price could be the fact that she charges around Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 3 crores for a 60-second ad.
