Karan Johar’s next film with Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

The upcoming film by film maker Karan Johar will have three superstars in it – Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. It is understood that the title of the film is Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The announcement has been made official by none other than Karan Johar himself. And that’s why there is nothing to speculate about. It will be the first time that the film maker will be working with the Bachchan bahu and that will be a good sign for her fans.

As far as Ranbir and Anushka are concerned, Karan worked with them earlier in the film titled Bombay Velvet. He is of the opinion that the chemistry of the two actors has been exceptional. And that is the reason why he has once again decided to cast them.

When you say Karan Johar, you invariably think of love flicks. And this will be something similar in nature. There will be love, break-ups and of course, how love is at the centerstage of a relationship.

Aaradhya overshadows mom Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

For once Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would have liked to get overshadowed as the person was none other than her daughter Aaradhya. The baby is not still even one year old and she is already making the headlines all over. Though customarily it is Aishwarya who hogs the limelight, it was her daughter who got one over her.

The baby was certainly looking cute and was dressed in a white frock and a hair band. The youngest member of the Bachchan family was with the other members and her mother when Aishwarya was offered the French Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. The only member who was absent was Jaya Bachchan.

Aaradhya was constantly crying and wasn’t at all happy when her mother was invited on the stage to accept the award. Finally, her father, Abhishek Bachchan had to take her outside to calm her down. Aishwarya also spoke a word or two about her motherhood.

She was visible happy and elated on all the developments going on around her.

Madhuri Dixit launches official web site

Madhuri Dixit, the yesteryear diva of Bollywood has launched her own official web site. It would not be wrong to say that it is a process to connect to millions of her fans worldwide. The site, madhuridixit-nene.com, is still under construction though. The index page of the site shows Madhuri in black with killer looks.

Madhuri had broken the news on Twitter when she posted about her new upcoming site. The site promises a lot of content that is worth knowing about, especially for the fans of the dancing diva. A lot of new things will certainly come out of the bag, for her die-hard fans.

Madhuri Dixit has given numerous hits in the Hindi film industry. Some of her all time hits include Ram Lakhan, Sajan, Tezaab,Dil and Beta. One of her recent hits includes Devdas along with Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan not in films for a year

The newest celebrity mommy in India Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will remain away from films for at least a year now, if not more. The reports came after it was suspected that rumors had started building that Aishwarya Rai would be seen in films soon. It was even being said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had signed Ash for his film.

It was being rumored that Aishwarya would make her comeback opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. Aishwarya would play Mastani and Shah Rukh would be seen in the role of Bajirao. However, according to a close source, Shah Rukh would be in the film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But he would not be in the role of Bajirao.

But another source has something different to say. Actually, the reports of including SRK in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film are a means to frustrate Salman Khan. As a matter of fact, Salman Khan was the first choice for Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the role of Bajirao. The film was to be made in 2002.

However, things did not fall in place for Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan and of course Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Madhur Bhandarkar concentrating on Heroine

After regular hiccups, regarding his film Heroine, Madhur Bhandarkar is again in the news. The setbacks could hardly set him back for the project. He is again working in full swing to see the light dawn on Heroine. The highly ambitious project of the director goes on the floors once again.

Kareena Kapoor will now take the place of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while Arjun Rampal will be the male protagonist. The shooting of the film has started with normal routine. Kareena looked a voluptuous woman when she stepped out of her vanity van in silver-black wear. Kareena certainly had put a little weight on and never looked her size-zero self.

The dresses for Kareena have been designed by Manish Malhotra. He has designed 130 dresses in all for Kareena especially for this film. Speaking about Kareena’s stunning looks he said, an Indian woman, an Indian heroine should look like – hot.

As for Kareena, she said that the role in the film would leave her exhausted. Well, she is really aware of what the challenges lay ahead. But at the same time, Bebo is all geared up and looked in high spirits when shooting.

Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine in trouble with Salim-Sulaiman

After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s unexpected pregnancy news threw the Heroine schedule out of gear, there is another trouble, this time with Salim-Sulaiman. Salim-Sulaiman is the pair who is scoring the tunes for the film. It is being reported that the pair is asking for a share of the royalties.

The news came as such a shock to Madhur, that he is contemplating removing the pair as the composer for the film. He is even thinking of roping in someone new. An inside source says that the demand was most certainly not expected from acclaimed music composers like Salim and Sulaiman.

The source giving more information about the pair said that they were hired for Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion in 2008. That time, the success of the film at the box office had gained for the composer duo.

When Aishwarya had decided to leave the film, there were literally war of words between Aishwarya and Madhur. We hope this matter gets solved amicably.

Will there be Kareena Kapoor’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds?

Some days ago we had reported to you about Indian actress Kareena Kapoor’s wax statue at the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum in England. However, there are reports saying this might hardly be a reality. So what is the latest about the entire issue?

According to the latest developments, the wax statue of Kareena Kapoor might not find a place at the Madame Tussauds museum yet. The statue would be in a small English town Blackpool, which is in North West England. To add to that the Chameli look of the wax statue is also under doubt. The final look of the wax statue is yet to be finalized.

The initial reports were claiming that the statue would be unveiled on August 15 – India’s Independence Day. However, the Kareena camp is now telling us that the event has been postponed by a couple of months and would be held in the month of October.

If all things go as planned and the wax statue is indeed finds a place at the Madame Tussauds museum, Kareena Kapoor would be the sixth Indian from the film industry to find a place in the world-famous museum. Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Hrithik Roshan are the other actors.

Sachin Tendulkar is the only celebrity from the sports world to get a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum.

Vasuki Sunkavalli is the new I Am She Miss Universe India 2011

Vasuki Sunkavalli is the winner of the I Am She Miss Universe India 2011 title. After becoming the owner of the new title, Vasuki Sunkavalli has come straight into the news. She says that now her first aim is to be fit physically for the upcoming beauty pageant in Brazil.

Speaking of her career options, Vasuki Sunkavalli has been originally a lawyer. However, the beauty pageant winner has also done a bit of modeling. Her modeling profession was quite to be understood, as it was easy for Vasuki Sunkavalli to get into modeling due to her killer looks and an inviting figure.

However, she was hesitant to directly speak of Bollywood as her option. She said that she has no plans as yet of making it to Bollywood. However, at the same time, Vasuki said that she does not fully ignore that channel as the career option if a chance comes by. She cited examples of Lara Dutta, Aishwarya Rai, Dia Mirza and Sushmita Sen who all made it big in Bollywood after winning the various beauty pageant titles.

Vasuki Sunkavalli is a 26-year old girl who comes from Hyderabad. She was crowned Miss Universe India 2011 by another beauty contest winner Sushmita Sen.

Truce between Madhur Bhandarkar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Madhur Bhandarkar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seem to have found an amicable solution over the controversy which arose after Madhur came to know that the leading lady of his film, Heroine, was pregnant. The reports cannot be false as they have come from Amitabh Bachchan himself.
During the promotion of Bbuddah Hoga Teraa Baap, Amitabh Bachchan declared that the issues have been sorted out between the director and his dauther-in-law. When asked what solution the two had found, Amitabh gave a clear-cut political answer. He said that the matter was between the production house and the actress and that he had no right to comment on it.
Madhur Bhandarkar was a totally worried and frustrated man until some days ago. He had even gone into deep depression and the thought that the hidden truth hurt him even more. There were huge losses to him and to the production house as well. But now as the solution is in sight, it seems all will be fine.
However, all of us are curious to know what solution was found. We hope someone will come out and declare it.

The news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan getting pregnant has sparked off a completely new debate in the tinsel town – should there be a pregnancy clause for actresses? This is really a debate worth taking up. Most logically, the clause should exist as the director and the producer get an idea of the time they have on their hands.
However, Beauty Queen Sushmita Sen and director Ram Gopal Varma have their own views on the same. According to them, there is no need for the introduction of the pregnancy clause.
If anyone might have lost his dream project due to Ash’s pregnancy, then it is Madhur Bhandarkar. Generally, the news of pregnancy is considered to be a good one for anyone close to you. However, Madhur is the recipient of one of the most shocking news he might have received in his life.
T.P Agarwal, who is the President, Film Federation of India, is of the opinion that the pregnancy clause should exist. Both the parties – the director/producer and the actress are aware of what comes in next. He also gave the reference that this clause does exist in some other parts of the world.
It is for the insurance companies to take care of the losses suffered during the shooting of the film. Still in India, there isn’t the custom of paying the producers by the insurance company if an actress gets pregnant.
Maybe, the pregnancy of Aishwarya Rai was just a medium of implementing this law in the coming days for Bollywood too. Who know!

Ever since the famous marriage of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan took place, there have been reports of Aishwarya getting pregnant all the while. However, the slim and trim figure of Ash always answered the critics and the rumor mongers. Every time they had to beat an unsuccessful retreat.
However, this time around there no dishonesty in the news. The reason is the news of Aishwarya’s pregnancy is coming from the most reliable source. No, it is not her hubby Abhishek, but in fact it’s Big B who has spilled the beans. This is what he said on Twitter and the world came to know about it “NEWS NEWS NEWS !! Neither Priyanka Chopra nor Katrina Kaif in Dhoom 3

The much talked about names for Dhoom 3, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif along with Deepika Padukone will be missing from the film. The reason is that, the makers of the film want to rope in a fresh face for the movie to be cast opposite Aamir Khan. Now, who that new face will be, is still not known as the search is still on.

Earlier, the reports from the Yash Raj banner said that the film would be made with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif or Deepika Padukone. However, now according to the latest reports, (or strategy, we may say) the production house wants a fresh face instead of the established names in the film industry.

Esha Deol and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had donned these roles before. It was both the producer – Aditya Chopra and the director Vijay Krishna Acharya wanted a new face, brushing aside some heavyweight names.

It is not new for the Yash Raj Films to have new faces in their films. So, this news should not come out of the bolt for the three ladies mentioned above. The search for the new face is certainly on.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to walk the Red Carpet in Paris

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be gracing the Cannes Film Festival this year when she walks on the Red Carpet for L’Oreal Paris. The Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 11 to May 22, 2011. Aishwarya will be accompanied by two other beautiful women from the film industry, namely Freida Pinto and Sonam Kapoor.

L’Oreal Paris and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have a very lengthy association with each other. They have been working in tandem for the past ten years, while the cosmetic company has been the official make-up partner of the world-famous fest for at least 14 years now.

Aishwarya will walk the prestigious Red Carpet on May 11, when the opening ceremony of the festival will be held. Ash had also walked the carpet last year as well. Well, why speak only of the last year; Aishwarya has been walking the Red Carpet for the last ten years without fail.

It is the first year for both Freida Pinto and Sonam Kapoor to represent L’Oreal Paris at the Cannes Film Festival. Sonam will walk the Red Carpet on May 15. Freida Pinto, on the other hand, will represent L’Oreal Paris at the amFAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research), where there will be dinner and after-party on May 19.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as well might be leading a happy married life, however, there is still no sign for Aishwarya to become a mother. Amitabh Bachchan is still not a 'dada', though he is a grandfather to her daughter's children. Still we have no clue when a cradle will rock for the Jr. Bachchan.
