Reports are doing the rounds in the media that film director Is Madhur Bhandarkar is apparently unhappy with actress Priyanka Chopra. The reason is said to be that Priyanka first made him wait for his upcoming film and finally put on hold.

Priyanka was to do the film Madamji with film maker and national award winner director Madhur Bhandarkar. The two were supposed to work out the film and make it a reality. The director wanted only Priyanka to be the main lead for the flick.

For this, he waited for Priyanka to finish off her earlier assignments. However, even after that, Priyanka showed no signs of turning up for Madamji. The film was about the story of a bar dancer who successfully made it to politics.

Piggy Chops was in the United States for about a couple of months where she was to shoot for Quantico, which is her first ever international show. However, when she came back, she got involved in her next film Bajirao Mastani.

But after no interest was shown by Priyanka in Madhur’s film, he too started his work on Reema Kagti’s film. However, he feels that the actress should not have made him wait for so long and still not turn up.

Bollywood is still strictly the male domain. The actresses, who really add all the spice and the masala are still underpaid, according to Priyanka Chopra. According to her, there is a huge amount of disparity in the remuneration that the actresses get as against the male actors.

So, it hardly makes a difference if a film is hit and which actress worked in it. As far as Priyanka Chopra is concerned, she has delivered hits like Fashion and more recently, Barfi as well as Dostana.

She defended a question and was a bit political when she was asked about the disparity. She said that one needs to give the credit to the actors as well. Well, if what Priyanka’s statement means is the difference in remuneration and actresses are paid less. So, the actors are getting the credit as well as more bucks, isn’t it?

According to the reports, Meera may have been doing better down south than in Bollywood. However, she carries a scandalous past. That is why, she is said to have lost on many lucrative offers. There had been many such offers, according to the reports.

The poll was conducted as an online poll by a weekly magazine called Eastern Eye. The other beauties – Kareena Kapoor came second while Katrina Kaif completed the first three women in the list.

Katrina Kaif was a favorite this time too as the sexy actress has managed to win the poll three years on the trot. There was a tough fight, no doubt about that. Priyanka Chopra – a crowdpuller in Hyderabad

Priyanka Chopra knows how to pull crowds anywhere, be it even Hyderabad – outside Bollywood’s hemisphere. Priyanka has been shooting for a Telugu film along with Ramcharan Teja in Hyderabad and the hotel where she is staying has become a beehive. Many young fans of Priyanka Chopra are constantly gathering outside the hotel.

Priyanka was in Hyderabad to shoot the bi-lingual Hindi-Telugu film Zanjeer by Apoorva Lakhia. On a normal Friday evening the time for the young people is to enjoy themselves in a pub or a casino. However, this one was different as there was the presence of Priyanka Chopra herself.

However, Priyanka Chopra is not left alone anytime. There are at least a couple of hundred people who wish to shake hands with her. And they also wish to see her along with Ramcharan Teja. So it gets a bit weird at times.

Priyanka Chopra is planning to dance to the tunes of Bhangra if the film Barfi makes it to the finals of the Oscars. `If we manage to reach Oscars, I will surely do the Bhangra at the Kodak theatre’. Barfi is the official entry for the Academy Awards from India.

Leading Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is the latest face of the popular drink Pepsi. She has signed for the brand and is the only lady ambassador amongst many other popular faces that are already advocating the brand. Her co-star from the film Barfi, Ranbir Kapoor is also the ambassador of the drink.

However, there are many cricketers who are also advocating the drink at the moment. All of them are star cricketers like Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli and the India cricket team captain M S Dhoni. There are already lots of cricketers on board. The brand was looking for signing up Bollywood faces as well.

It is expected that Priyanka Chopra will be earning around Rs. 4 crores per year according to the deal. To add to this, PC will soon be releasing her debut music album as well. The soft drink company is also looking forward to making a partnership with that as well.

If the reports are to be believed, Parineeti Chopra did not have good memories of a recent fashion show. She was walking the ramps for the Shabana Azmi’s fashion show. It is learnt that she fainted during her catwalk. This is one situation where Parineeti had trouble finding her footing – literally.

When she was coming back from the ramp and heading towards the exit, she suddenly lost her balance and fell down. She immediately fainted at the door. However, to her good luck, the people around there helped her and offered water. She regained consciousness soon after and everything was fine.
