As the year draws to an end, it is time we have a look at transpired during the last 12 months. Many hot actresses made their debut in Bollywood. Sunny Leone, Paoli Dam, Esha Gupta, Yami Gautam and Illena Dcruz are the names that have been talked about.

Some of the other names that require a mention are the names like Alia Bhatt. Alia Bhatt made her debut with the film Student of the Year, which was made by film maker Karan Johar. Huma Qureshi should get a special mention for her performance in Gangs of Wasseypur.

Sridevi returned to the silver screen with her film English Vinglish. It was also the first film for Priya Anand. Though she was sharing screen with the legendary Sridevi, she made sure she was seen in the film. Even Nidhi Subbaiya, who worked in Ajab Gazabb Love was taken note of.

For Deepika Padukone, Cocktail proved to be the talk of the town. And in that town, Diana Penty made herself visible. Her innocent looks made her the favorite amongst her followers already.

Ileana D'Cruz replaces the expensive Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam has demanded a whopping fee of Rs. 1.5 crores to be the face of a jewelry brand. However, Ileana D’Cruz replaced the expensive Yami Gautam at only about one third of the price. It looks as if Yami Gautam has become too costly for her image and her boots. 

It could possibly be the success of Vikcy Donor that could have made Yami Gautam articulate the price. She already is the ambassador of a phone brand as well as a fairness product. Seeing her popularity, the owners of a jewelry company wanted to sign her up for their products.

However, they were in for a shocking treatment when Yami Gautam demanded a huge amount of Rs. 1.5 crores. There was no way the owners would pay that much to Yami Gautam. They had some other ideas and so did Ileana D’Cruz. Ileana D’Cruz was happy enough to accept the offer for about Rs. 50 lakhs.

It is indeed a bit surprising to know that Ileana D’Cruz was ready to sign the offer for a mere Rs. 50 lakhs taking into account her immensely huge fan following in the south and she is more senior than Yami Gautam.

Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor aren’t Ileana’s friends

Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor aren’t my friends, says the south heroine Ileana D’Cruz – who made her Bollywood debut through the film Barfi. Yes, people have not yet stopped talking about the lead star of the film – Ranbir Kapoor. However, Ileana D’Cruz has nothing to do with it.

Ileana D’Cruz can be said to be the narrator of the film, though she has an important role to play. However, she has admitted that the film has been a major development in her life. Ileana D’Cruz recently had a bout of food poisoning. But, she was ready to talk in the interview.

However, Ileana is happy the way the film has performed at the box office. Being nominated for the Oscars is the icing on the cake. Talking about the Bollywood stars – Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor, she says that she has spent nearly a year with them. However, she has not yet known Ranbir to address him as a friend.

Ileana D'Cruz will be making her Bollywood debut through the film Barfi. Not many might know, but Ileana D'Cruz is the highest paid actress in the southern film industry. No wonder, she says she deserves what she gets. When she was asked about she being the highest paid, she simply said that she has not seen anyone else’s paychecks.

There is no question that she is a favorite down south. On the contrary, she got the stardom and the love from south cinema industry itself. It was in the year 2006 that she was first seen on the silver screen through the Telugu film titled Devadasu. As far as films in the south are concerned, she is awesome there.

However, Ileana has made it clear that there are slim chances of her going back there. Only if there is a good script and a film worth doing that she will go back. Otherwise, Bollywood will remain her first choice.

Speaking about wearing a bikini, Ileana is open to doing that. However, the only thing that matter is that she feels she should be able to pull it off successfully.

Ileana D'Cruz regrets not working with Salman Khan

There might hardly be an actress who would not like to work with Salman Khan. Ileana D'Cruz is one, though. She had refused to work with the hunk of Bollywood and thus let go the opportunity to work with him on the silver screen. She had been offered a role in the film Wanted – which is the Hindi version of the original film in Telugu titled Pokiri.

Ileana accepted that she was offered the role in the Hindi remake. However, she was a bit skeptic about the role and the film itself being made in Bollywood. She thought that the film was not prepared for the Hindi industry. However, she will now be making her debut in the film Barfi, where she will be playing an old woman.

She agreed that the missed a big opportunity of working opposite someone like Salman Khan. However, she also said that Barfi is the best launch for her.
