Karan Johar’s next film with Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

The upcoming film by film maker Karan Johar will have three superstars in it – Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. It is understood that the title of the film is Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The announcement has been made official by none other than Karan Johar himself. And that’s why there is nothing to speculate about. It will be the first time that the film maker will be working with the Bachchan bahu and that will be a good sign for her fans.

As far as Ranbir and Anushka are concerned, Karan worked with them earlier in the film titled Bombay Velvet. He is of the opinion that the chemistry of the two actors has been exceptional. And that is the reason why he has once again decided to cast them.

When you say Karan Johar, you invariably think of love flicks. And this will be something similar in nature. There will be love, break-ups and of course, how love is at the centerstage of a relationship.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif may get married next year. And the comments made by Salman Khan on his ex may not affect that, it is believed. Before dating Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina was the rumored girlfriend of Salman Khan.

In the recent wedding reception of Salman’s sister Arpita, Salman didn’t lose the opportunity to pass some comments on Ranbir’s current girlfriend. It was reported that Salman had six different things to say about himself and Katrina that also indirectly included Ranbir Kapoor.

It was only a matter of time before Ranbir came to know of this all. It was expected that when the Kapoor boy would hear this, he would get upset and lose his cool. However, to everyone’s surprise, there was nothing from Ranbir’s side. He decided to keep mum about the entire issue.

Salman had commented about Katrina that she first acted with Akshay Kumar and then with him. And without naming Ranbir, he said how much more are you going to fall now? In another dig at her, he said that he had given her a chance to becoming Katrina Khan.

In one more comment regarding her name, was when he asked her to come on stage and when she was shying away from appearing, Salman called her Katrina Kapoor.

Ranbir Kapoor is too pricy to sign a chocolate brand

Post the success of Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan got pricy. Ranbir Kapoor has followed suit after the success of Barfi. He was to be signed for a chocolate brand. However, he demanded a whopping sum of Rs. 20 crores for the same. It was a humongous sum that made the manufacturers think for the second time.

It was actually a sour experience for the firm who were looking to sign Ranbir Kapoor. They were hopeful that they would be able to sign the star. However, when they heard the price Ranbir was demanding, they were crestfallen. They hadn’t left with any choice at all. Almost reluctantly, they had to let go the Bollywood hero.

There is hardly any doubt that the popularity of Ranbir Kapoor is on the rise. After the success of Barfi, he scaled new heights. That is the reason the firm wanted to have him as the face of their products.

The story does not end here. According to Ranbir Kapoor, he had never been approached to have a deal. A source tells that there are many brand owners who want to sign Ranbir up. However, a deal never fail due to the monitory issues.

Almost the entire Kapoor family – Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and their son Ranbir Kapoor may star in the next film by Abhinav Kashyap. It seems as if he has managed to get all the three of them to say yes to him. It will be one of its kind films if it indeed goes on as planned.

The Kapoors are likely to star in the film Besharam. If the reports are to be believed, Abhinav Kashyap was willing to have both the father and the son to say yes for the film. The senior Kapoor is already a part of the film. If Ranbir is also a part of the film is still to be confirmed.

Abhinav Kashyap is also excited about signing Neetu Kapoor for the film as well. He first determined that the role was suitable for her only then went on to offer her the role. However, the actress is yet to read the final script of the film. Any decision will be taken afterwards.

It will be very exciting to see the father mother along with their son in a film. It will be a thrilling experience for the actors as well.

Alia Bhatt is a newcomer in the Bollywood industry as against Ranbir Kapoor. However, she is bold enough to confess that she has a huge crush on Ranbir Kapoor. She said that she has always adored the young star and after the success of Barfi, her love for Ranbir has grown even more.

Alia, who is just 19 years old, said that Ranbir has been her biggest crush and there is hardly any doubt that there will be anyone else. The crush will always remain, Alia said. She was speaking in an interview when she was promoting Student Of The Year.

She was also asked with Khan prominently she would like to work with between Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. To this she replied that all of them are huge stars and that it will be difficult for her to choose from any of them.

Student Of The Year will be the first film for Alia, who is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt. There are two newcomers in the film as well – Varun Dhawan – David Dhawan’s son and model Siddharth Molhotra. The film is slated for October 19 release.

Do Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone need 11 retakes?

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are currently busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film has already seen lots of changes in the location and still a bulk of the shooting still remains to be completed. However, there still remains one thing that is difficult to sort out.

Ayan Mukerji, for one, needs takes and retakes galore. If the sources are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had to do the same scene as many as 11 times. There is no doubt that the duo was not really feeling well with the takes. However, there was no option for them but to continue.

The entire crew and the cast of the film had to oblige. The team has already travelled and shot for various scenes in Rajasthan and Manali, not to talk about Mumbai. They now move to France to shoot almost 40% of the film.

Well, we do not know which shot needed those 11 retakes. But we hope at the end of the day, everything went right.

Barfi might not have a sequel at all

These are the days of sequel. Even the sequel of Mr. India is likely to crop up next year. Barfi however, looks to be an exception to the rule it seems. Anurag Basu might never consider making a sequel to Barfi. However, the character depicted by Ranbir Kapoor might not die so soon.

According to a source, Anurag Basu has decided against the sequel to Barfi. He is in fact against the idea. It looks like Mr. Basu has some other plans instead. He is thinking of keeping the character alive in the print format. He has even kept the option of the small screen open to him.

A TV series in the animation form cannot be overruled. He has said that there will be more to Barfi than just the film. But, what exactly it will be, that is still not known. However, he said that the producers are free to do the sequel if they wish in the same way as the Bhatts did the sequel to Murder.

Burfi gets in legal fight with Murphy

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Burfi might not have been in any controversy before. However, Murphy Radio, a part of Murphy Enterprises of Mumbai, has brought the film into trouble. As a matter of fact, the Murphy Enterprises has just sent a notice to the production house. The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures as well as Ishana Films.

The reason for sending a legal notice is that the production house has used the registered trademarks and that too without obtaining a No Objection Certificate. This is the first time that the film has come into news for the wrong reasons. There were no controversies associated with the film so far.

Not many might know, but the Murphy Enterprises were behind the Murphy Radios that was immensely popular after the independence days. ‘Murphy’, ‘Murphy Munna’ and ‘Murphy Radio’ were some of the words used at various places in the film as well as the song.

The owners of the brand are contemplating of slapping a fine for Rs. 50 crores. The film production house has maintained their innocence over the issue and claimed they didn’t infringe on any copyright laws.

After Deepika Padukone broke up with Siddharth Mallya, reports are surfacing that the sexy lady is back with Ranbir Kapoor. It is being talked that the two are with each other spending what it could be termed as ‘quality time’. After breaking up with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone was seen with Siddhartha Mallya. She was with the Mallya family during their IPL matches as well.

The Dirty Picture ruled at the Screen Awards, 2012. The film won the awards for various categories. The Best Film award was anyone's guess. Milan Luthria won The Best Director award. But no marks for guessing - Vidya Balan won The Best Actress award hands down. The bold and voluptuous performance by the smoking hot Vidya looked to be the only choice before the jury.

The Best Actor award went to Ranbir Kapoor for his character in Rockstar. Saif Ali Khan got the Best Supporting Actor award as a role he played in Aarakshan. Adity Rao Hydari was awarded with the Best Supporting Actress award for her depiction in the film Ye Saali Zindagi.

The Best Actor award for a negative role was given to Prashant Narayan for his role in Murder 2. Priyanka Chopra was the obvious choice for Best Actress award in the negative role in 7 Khoon Maaf.

A R Rehman got the award for the Best Music Director for Rockstar. Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal won the Best Male Singer and Best Female Singer awards for the song Phir se ud chala and Ooh la la respectively.

Singer legend Asha Bhosale was honored with the lifetime achievement award on the occasion.

Shreya Narayan finds her role cut down in Rockstar

If the on screen timing is cut down for a newbie like Shreya Narayan it will hurt. She is seen in Rockstar. And it seems the upcoming star has been virtually rocked. The amount of on screen time that she got for the film is not what she expected when the film was signed by her.
