The Kapoors have been in Bollywood for 80 years now. Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor for the first time would have come on stage, but for Priyanka Chopra. It was the occasion of the finals of Indian Idol – the singing reality show. It was planned that Ranbir and Kareena would appear together on stage.

However, everyone knows the fact that the two ladies – Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor, do not get along very well. That is why it is supposed that the two cousins could not make it to the stage together. One of the historical moments of Bollywood was certainly missed this time.

Controversies surrounding Indian Idol

The Indian version of the singing reality show Indian Idol has reportedly landed itself in controversies even before it began telecasting its episodes on the small screen. The organizers have been accused of shortlisted the candidates beforehand in a hush-hush manner. The Mumbai May 19 auditions is at the center of the controversy.

There are many budding signers from the metropolitan city who feel that they have been cheated. The singers who made their way to Mumbai from different parts of the country were in for some rude shock when they found out that the auditions taking place on May 19 were not unadulterated at all.

There were some ‘qualified’ candidates who were already shortlisted, some of the dejected candidates feel. They have made all sorts of allegations on the organizers. The organizers on the other hand have said that it is those people who are not selected and who start finding loopholes with the system.

The organizers further said that there was nothing of a sort of silent auditions at all.
