Is Madhur Bhandarkar miffed with Priyanka?

Reports are doing the rounds in the media that film director Is Madhur Bhandarkar is apparently unhappy with actress Priyanka Chopra. The reason is said to be that Priyanka first made him wait for his upcoming film and finally put on hold.

Priyanka was to do the film Madamji with film maker and national award winner director Madhur Bhandarkar. The two were supposed to work out the film and make it a reality. The director wanted only Priyanka to be the main lead for the flick.

For this, he waited for Priyanka to finish off her earlier assignments. However, even after that, Priyanka showed no signs of turning up for Madamji. The film was about the story of a bar dancer who successfully made it to politics.

Piggy Chops was in the United States for about a couple of months where she was to shoot for Quantico, which is her first ever international show. However, when she came back, she got involved in her next film Bajirao Mastani.

But after no interest was shown by Priyanka in Madhur’s film, he too started his work on Reema Kagti’s film. However, he feels that the actress should not have made him wait for so long and still not turn up.

Amisha Patel praises Kareena Kapoor

Amisha Patel has been in awe of the film Heroine, in which Kareena Kapoor has essayed a central character. Amisha has been left speechless after seeing the film made by Madhur Bhandarkar and thinks it's the best by Kareena Kapoor. These two ladies have not shared a close bonding or camaraderie. However, Amisha showed that she was a person with a greater heart when she praised Kareena.

According to Amisha Patel, there is a time in the life when one needs to move on and not remain glued to the things that had happened in the past. As a matter of fact, it is Amisha who has taken a break and is happy with the way life is progressing for her.

As far as Heroine is concerned, Amisha feels that Kareena has worked out to the fullest in the film. She has showed a lot of character and maturity, Amisha feels. Even Amisha Patel is herself a great actress and is busy with her next projects. However, she is not yet ready to comment about the work she is busy with.

She maintains that it would be early to speak anything about the project. However, the biggest excitement for Amisha is the fact that she is awaiting her home production titled Desi Magic. The shooting will start from November 14.

Heroine is the best film by Kareena Kapoor yet

Rashmi Nigam’s character inspired by Gauri Khan and Sussanne Roshan

The name Rashmi Nigam might not ring bells in your head. But the character in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Heroine is said to be inspired by Gauri Khan and Sussanne Roshan. Rashmi Nigam plays the character of a star wife and that of actor Sanjay Suri in the film.

Rashmi Nigam says that the character she plays shows what a star wife has to go through.  She further says that the time is tough when there are all kinds of rumors going on around about the relationship the spouse goes through. All that is extremely difficult to bear.

It is but natural for the wife to become a bit jealous. That is what the character of Rashmi Nigam has to portray in the film. However, in spite of all that, she always wishes her husband to achieve huge success no matter what.

Can Heroine do good business during the festive season?

Heroine – Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project has Arjun Rampal playing the character that has extra-marital affair with Kareena Kapoor. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor to marry on October 16

After a lot of speculations and rounds of guesses all the time, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will finally get married on October 16 (we hope at least, this time there is something to look forward to in the news). Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan to marry in October

The news of the marriage of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan has surfaced once again. There have always been instances of the marriage news about Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. It was expected to take place in February this year. Talks were on that they were waiting for Agent Vinod to release.

Now the latest date to make an entry in the already long list of dates is something in the month of October. Though these are just tentative dates, it should be marked that the dates being spoken of have not come either from Kareena Kapoor or form Saif Ali Khan. So we will have to wait for some more time.

Madhur Bhandarkar concentrating on Heroine

After regular hiccups, regarding his film Heroine, Madhur Bhandarkar is again in the news. The setbacks could hardly set him back for the project. He is again working in full swing to see the light dawn on Heroine. The highly ambitious project of the director goes on the floors once again.

Kareena Kapoor will now take the place of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while Arjun Rampal will be the male protagonist. The shooting of the film has started with normal routine. Mugdha Godse refuses presence with Madhur Bhandarkar

Mugdha Godse, the upcoming star of Bollywood has refused to present an award with Madhur Bhandarkar – her director her debut film. it was at the last minute that Mugdha refused to share the stage presence with the acclaimed director. No wonder, the organizers had to rope in a last-minute alternative in the form of Ken Ghosh.

Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine in trouble with Salim-Sulaiman

After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s unexpected pregnancy news threw the Heroine schedule out of gear, there is another trouble, this time with Salim-Sulaiman. Salim-Sulaiman is the pair who is scoring the tunes for the film. It is being reported that the pair is asking for a share of the royalties.

The news came as such a shock to Madhur, that he is contemplating removing the pair as the composer for the film. He is even thinking of roping in someone new. An inside source says that the demand was most certainly not expected from acclaimed music composers like Salim and Sulaiman.

The source giving more information about the pair said that they were hired for Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion in 2008. That time, the success of the film at the box office had gained for the composer duo.

Kareena Kapoor to don 130 dresses in Heroine

Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming film will be remembered for the number of dresses she would be seen in. Bebo will don as many as 130 different costumes. It would probably be the first time that any leading lady will wear such a wide range of apparel. It has never been done before at least in the Hindi film industry.

The film Heroine is directed by the acclaimed director Madhur Bhandarkar. Apart from the number of dresses, there is another thing that is also in the news, which is the cost of these dresses. Pretti Jain brings fresh troubles for Madhur Bhandarkar

The acclaimed and the award-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar is in a bout of fresh troubles. Starlet Pretti Jain has made allegations against Mr. Bhandarkar. His past has come back to haunt him for a second time now. It is the same old rape case in which he was accused of earlier. The case dates back to 2004.

In a clear-cut statement, Pretti has told that she has slept with Madhur Bhandarkar as many as 16 times. She has even gone on to say that Madhur has promised her a lead role in his film. The rising star’s allegations did not stop here. She added that the director had even promised to marry her then.

Ms. Pretti Jain said that she had slept with Bhandarkar from 1999 to 2004. She added in her statement that whenever she refused to have physical intercourse with him, he even went on to rape her.Madhur Bhandarkar has directed films like Corporate, Chandni Bar, Traffic Signal and Page 3.

Now, summons has been issued in Madhur Bhandarkar’s name. He has been asked to appear before the court on October 18. It may be recalled that Pretti Jain had been arrested in the month of September six years ago. The reason for her arrest was the contract she had awarded to kill Madhur Bhandarkar.

Priyanka Chopra denies her role is similar to the film Heroine

Priyanka Chopra is an upset individual these days. The reason for her bad temper is the news reports saying her role in Kunal Kohli’s next film is a lot similar to the film Heroine. If not for Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra has brought Heroine back in the news again.

She was really upset and was fuming too. She could not but take the help of Twitter to speak out her mind. She posted on the social networking site: “Woke up this morning to an amazing piece of fiction... a news story that says my role in Kunal's film is similar to that of 'Heroine'...What a fertile imagination!!! There was no verification made with anyone before they made this resounding conclusion.”

There are not many details available about Kunal Kohli’s upcoming film. However, Priyanka Chopra, who plays opposite Shahid Kapoor, will play not one, not two, but four sets characters each in the film. The one character that Priyanka plays will be seen like that of the 1960s. She was also seen in one such outfit in one of the images from the film. Priyanka Chopra looks much like Mumtaz.

The filmmaker also jumped in to join Priyanka Chopra in refusing the similarities with Heroine. He said, “Well said @priyankachopra, no one asked us anything, they just printed a baseless story. There's no similarity between the films”.

Madhur Bhandarkar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seem to have found an amicable solution over the controversy which arose after Madhur came to know that the leading lady of his film, Heroine, was pregnant. The reports cannot be false as they have come from Amitabh Bachchan himself.
During the promotion of Bbuddah Hoga Teraa Baap, Amitabh Bachchan declared that the issues have been sorted out between the director and his dauther-in-law. When asked what solution the two had found, Amitabh gave a clear-cut political answer. He said that the matter was between the production house and the actress and that he had no right to comment on it.
Madhur Bhandarkar was a totally worried and frustrated man until some days ago. He had even gone into deep depression and the thought that the hidden truth hurt him even more. There were huge losses to him and to the production house as well. But now as the solution is in sight, it seems all will be fine.
However, all of us are curious to know what solution was found. We hope someone will come out and declare it.
