Abhishek Bachchan appreciated for Bol Bachchan

The much talked about film Bol Bachchan finally released yesterday – Friday, July 6. The bulk of the attention was grabbed by the Jr. B, Abhishek Bachchan for his slapstick comedy. Abhishek showed how he can tickle the funny bone quite easily through this film. Overall, the film was also received well by the audience.

Kunal Kohli said that Rohit Shetty’s film was an absolute hilarious one. He also said that the entire team of Bol Bachchan had done a fabulous job. He further said that he laughed so much during the film that his jaws started aching. There could be no exaggeration in this statement as Rohit Shetty has certainly found the cord to tickle the bones of the audience.

Another film director Ashutosh Gowarikar also talked a few good things about the film. He specially praised Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan in the film. According to him, Abhishek was outstanding. No wonder, Abhishek is on cloud nine after the reviews.

Shahid Kapoor rescues Priyanka Chopra

For another time Shahid Kapoor has come to the rescue of his former love Priyanka Chopra. This will certainly remind you of how Shahid had been by Priyanka’s side when her house was suddenly raided by the IT officials some weeks back. Shahid has once again rushed to help Priyanka Chopra.

This time the problem for Priyanka Chopra was in Aurangabad, Bihar. A song sequence was to be shot at the fort there. However, as compared to only tackling a handful of IT officials, Shahid was in for some shock as he had to tackle thousands of onlookers and fans.

Kunal Kohli was not able to get the due permission for shooting at the fort. So, there was no restriction on the general public there and the shooting had to be carried out as it is. As the news spread that the two Bollywood stars are shooting there, the crowd started to build up.

Shahid Kapoor had to physically guard Priyanka many times as they had to walk as many as two miles to the exact shooting location as there was no chance of getting vehicles there from the bizarre fans.

Priyanka Chopra denies her role is similar to the film Heroine

Priyanka Chopra is an upset individual these days. The reason for her bad temper is the news reports saying her role in Kunal Kohli’s next film is a lot similar to the film Heroine. If not for Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra has brought Heroine back in the news again.

She was really upset and was fuming too. She could not but take the help of Twitter to speak out her mind. She posted on the social networking site: “Woke up this morning to an amazing piece of fiction... a news story that says my role in Kunal's film is similar to that of 'Heroine'...What a fertile imagination!!! There was no verification made with anyone before they made this resounding conclusion.”

There are not many details available about Kunal Kohli’s upcoming film. However, Priyanka Chopra, who plays opposite Shahid Kapoor, will play not one, not two, but four sets characters each in the film. The one character that Priyanka plays will be seen like that of the 1960s. She was also seen in one such outfit in one of the images from the film. Priyanka Chopra looks much like Mumtaz.

The filmmaker also jumped in to join Priyanka Chopra in refusing the similarities with Heroine. He said, “Well said @priyankachopra, no one asked us anything, they just printed a baseless story. There's no similarity between the films”.

Not all is well between Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. The stories of their breakups and settling things and breaking up and then again settling things up has become a regular affair. They have hardly managed to keep things on track. But when they were going steady and seeing each other, Kunal Kohli signed them for his next film.

No doubt, he had made a good choice of getting the pair for the lead as they were dating in real life too. However, calamity struck Kohli even before the shooting of the film had started. (As usual) Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra saw their relation again hitting the rocks. Kohli wonders what will happen to his film.

However, he believes in the professionalism of both the actors. They do give a good shot when before the camera. But the situation is not too good on the sets once the shooting stops.

A source reveals that there is tension for sure. Both Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have almost zero interaction between them when they are giving the shots. Once any specific shot is over, they turn a blind eye towards each other. There is such a great amount of hatred towards each other that none of them rehearses with each other.

The results may not be too good for the film. We just pray for the best!

No director to work with Amisha Patel – the producer?

Why is it that the leading lady of successful films like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and Gadar, Amisha Patel is finding it hard to kick off her debut production? She had announced the launch of her own production house some days back and also came up with a film as well.

However, according to experts, she should have waited for right moment before announcing her film. Amisha now finds herself in a fix as there is no director as of now, ready to work with her. This has made her do nothing more than wait for any prominent director to take up her work.

Amisha has approached directors like Priyadarshan and Kunal Kohli. However, all are already busy with their respective projects in hands and it’s hard to get some time off instantly. It is rumored that, Amisha had personally requested director Imtiaz Ali to at least have a look at the script.

However, the request from Amisha seems to have fallen on deaf ears or maybe not. But Imtiaz is currently busy with the work of the post-production of the film Rockstar.

Let’s see when Amisha Patel’s lady luck starts to shine. We hope, the damsel gets out of distress sooner than later.
