Bollywood dancing and action star Hrithik Roshan has topped the list of the 50 Sexiest Asian Men In The World. It has been second year on the trot that he has topped this list. Last year too, Hrithik was at the helm of the list. Hrithik faced some tough competition, which was very understandable.

A UK based media house, the organization that came up with the polls, has said that the Bollywood star has topped this year’s list by more margin than what he did the last year. Though the competition looked very stiff, it was a very easy win for Hrithik at the end.

As far as the first response from Hrithik is concerned, he said that he was quite surprised by the poll results. However, he showed his humbleness. But he said that he was a bit embarrassed by the results as well. As far as his competitors are concerned, the runner was from Pakistan – the actor cum pop star Ali Zafar. Salman Khan came in third while Shahid Kapoor, who was the runner-up last year, was fourth this time.

John Abraham, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Emraan Hashmi and Arjun Rampal were some other names in the list.

Hrithik Roshan rejects offer worth Rs. 20 crores

Hrithik Roshan should also be considered a 'perfectionist' just like Aamir Khan. Hrithik was offered an endorsement of a cell phone brand. But it is learnt that Hrithik refused to endorse the product just because he did not find the creative concept of the ad appealing. Then what? Hrithik flatly refused the offer.

However, the company was very willing to get Hrithik Roshan on board. They are also known to have increased his pay cheque. The company was initially offering him Rs. 15 crores. But they were ready to pay even Rs. 20 crores for the same project. However, Hrithik did not budge from his decision one bit.

It looks like Hrithik is paying a lot of attention to his on the screen image. He felt that he would not be able to become the face of such a brand where he does not feel convinced himself.

Well, in that case the company, the name which couldn't be known, might have to scour for another face or either change their creative concept if they have to retain Hrithik on their side.

Salman Khan becomes the highest paid host on TV

With the next season of Bigg Boss just round the corner, Salman Khan can boast of being the highest paid actor on the small screen. It is estimated that Salman will be pocketing as much as Rs. 3.8 to Rs. 4 crores per episode for the show. Though he was sharing the space with Sanjay Dutt in the last season, still Salman was paid around Rs. 3 crores per episode.

However, after his success with Ek Tha Tiger and the immense popularity of his films, there is hardly any doubt that his value is on the rise. Salman Khan is the only actor from Bollywood who has delivered more than three hits at the box office garnering more than Rs. 100 crores in each film.

Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are some of the other names in the Bollywood who are pocketing huge sums of money for hosting various shows for each episode. How can the list be complete without the mention of Amitabh Bachchan and Kaun Banega Crorepati?

For her role in Krissh2, Kangana Ranaut has lost about 5KG for playing the lead opposite Hrithik Roshan. She has resorted to martial arts to keep her weight under check. She will be seen in a skin-tight mutant. She is also keeping a close eye on her diet plan to see to it that she remains fit to fit in the skin-tight costume.

Judo, karate, and taekwondo are three arms of martial arts that Kangana is practicing as well. The suit is skin-tight and it will not be easy for Kangana to wear the same for hours together. It has to be so well-dressed that a single fold can make the actress wear the entire costume once again all over before the next shoot starts.

It takes at least an hour to wear the entire suit with the make-up. Nowadays, Kangana’s day starts at around 5 am when she starts her fitness programme. She then leaves for her home, gets fresh and starts her shooting. She is on smaller meals during the days and nothing heavy is acceptable to her at the moment.

Agneepath earns more than Bodyguard on opening day

There is Agneepath, Agneepath and Agneepath all the way. When we heard that Bodyguard had been the highest grosser on the opening day in the history of the Hindi cinema, we thought that was it. It would take ages before the record is broken. However, it was just a matter of a few months to materialize.

Agneepath has earned more than what Bodyguard had earned on the opening day – an earning of Rs. 23 cr. Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard had earned Rs. 21.6 cr. It was a record in its own way. But Agneepath came strongly to earn slightly more than Rs. 1.6 cr. on the first day.

The film was released on the occasion of India’s Republic Day – Thursday, January 26. That was a good occasion for the people to take a break from the work and redeem themselves with a movie from the stable of Karan Johar.

Kangana Ranaut to play Alie in Krrish 2

Kangana Ranaut is currently busy preparing herself for the role of Alie in the film Krrish 2. Krrish 2 is the sequel to the Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish – which is a tale of a superhero. Kangana has started her preparation for the role with a vengeance. She is needed to fit into a costume that has been designed exclusively for her.

To make it possible, she has already dropped five kg of weight. However, that is not the end of the story. Kangana will have to keep up with the current lower weight for at least the next ten to eleven months. It is predicted that the film will complete shooting until October next year and Kangana is required to make herself comfortable with the same weight until then.

Priyanka Chopra will also be seen in the sequel, which will be directed by Rakesh Roshan – Hrithik’s father.

Meanwhile, Kangana is known to have got a nice meaty role in an all-girls film. However, there are no concrete reports about the same and the star is not yet ready to say anything about the new project.

Shah Rukh Khan will not visit Bigg Boss for Ra.One promo

Currently Shah Rukh Khan is busy promoting his film Ra.One. However, he will not be a guest on the reality show Bigg Boss. He will not be there for reasons best known only to him and probably many others. As a matter of fact, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy visiting many reality shows to promote his film.

However, the refusal to be a guest on Bigg Boss has more to do with the presence of Salman Khan. Actually, SRK said that he would be touring the city during the time when he was expected to visit Bigg Boss. The lack of time is the common answer that has come to the fore again.

Shah Rukh Khan has already been a guest on India’s Got Talent, L’ll Champs and Just Dance. SRK said that there are all the people associated with these shows who are his friends and so he could not help but go there. He said that he went to IGT because he is good friends with Kirron Kher. He further said that he visited JD just because Hrithik Roshan is his friend and had invited him.

But Mr. King Khan, isn’t Sanjay Dutt your good friend? Then why did you not choose to go there? However, SRK will be on the show Kaun Banega Crorepati. It seems SRK preferred Amitabh Bachchan over Salman Khan.

Chitrangada Singh has lesser time for Mehrunissa

Though Sudhir Mishra is the favorite director of Chitrangada Singh, he is very strict when it comes to work. Mehrunissa is the director’s upcoming film in which Chitrangada Singh is expected to play the lead role. However, there is a condition put forth by the director – get fit in two month’s time.

Yes, that’s right. Sudhir Mishra has almost given an ultimatum to Chitrangada Singh to prepare herself for the role of the protagonist. The film Mehrunissa is based on the love story which is set during the Partition years of 1947. For this role, Chitrangada Singh will have to prepare herself to play the role of a Muslim girl.

As a matter of fact, Chitrangada Singh is also preparing herself for her another film Krissh 3 along with Hrithik Roshan. However, Sudhir Mishra wants Chitrangada to gain some weight for the character she will play in Mehrunissa. Among other things that Chitrangada is expected to incorporate are the culture and the body language a typical Muslim girl could have in those Partition days.

As Kareena Kapoor is getting ready for the release of her film Bodyguard, she has come up with a unique idea. The idea is of honoring the real-life bodyguards. For that, she will be getting in touch with the bodyguards of Saif Ali Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan.

Her notion behind honoring the bodyguards is to show respect towards their work and honest commitment. They have been doing their duties of protecting the super stars tremendously well. And that is why Kareena Kapoor wants to show that there is a relation of give and take.

Will there be Kareena Kapoor’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds?

Some days ago we had reported to you about Indian actress Kareena Kapoor’s wax statue at the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum in England. However, there are reports saying this might hardly be a reality. So what is the latest about the entire issue?

According to the latest developments, the wax statue of Kareena Kapoor might not find a place at the Madame Tussauds museum yet. The statue would be in a small English town Blackpool, which is in North West England. To add to that the Chameli look of the wax statue is also under doubt. The final look of the wax statue is yet to be finalized.

The initial reports were claiming that the statue would be unveiled on August 15 – India’s Independence Day. However, the Kareena camp is now telling us that the event has been postponed by a couple of months and would be held in the month of October.

If all things go as planned and the wax statue is indeed finds a place at the Madame Tussauds museum, Kareena Kapoor would be the sixth Indian from the film industry to find a place in the world-famous museum. Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Hrithik Roshan are the other actors.

Sachin Tendulkar is the only celebrity from the sports world to get a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum.

Kalki Koechlin denies differences with Katrina Kaif

Kalki Koechlin has come forward to make a statement saying there are no differences between her and her co-star Katrina Kaif. There were some reports some days back saying the two beauties do not bond well between them and that there are some differences. Kalki made this statement on Sunday in Gurgaon.

Kalki Koechlin, who recently got married, was let down by the fact that no one approached her for what she thought about Katrina Kaif. Her reason for sadness was that, everyone had taken it for granted that there is a rift between the two actresses.
Kalki was speaking about this issue when she was at the PVR Cinemas in Ambience mall, Gurgaon. She was there with the other male stars of the film with whom Katrina was also present. There were however, no reports of Katrina coming forward and speaking the issue.
The director of the film Zoya Akhtar and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani were also present on the occasion.
Kalki Koechlin has another film lined up with her Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara co-star Abhay Deol. This will be their second film together after Dev D.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif won’t kiss on screen

Like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Katrina Kaif also has a no-kiss clause on her list of conditions. Keeping with the tradition, she will not kiss her ‘good friend’ Salman Khan in their upcoming movie Ek Tha Tiger. However, Katrina did make an exception of kissing on-screen when she had a terrible 3 minute smooch with Hrithik Roshan in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

But coming back to Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, both Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are serious enough to keep the no-kiss clause going. During the shooting, there was one scene that required both Salman and Katrina to kiss each other. However, there was a plain no from both of them.

According to one of the sources from the film, Kabir Khan was insisting both Salman and Katrina to give one shot. He thought both the pros would understand the need and the importance to kiss. However, neither Salman nor Katrina gave up. So, Kabir had no choice but to make some necessary changes.

Shah Rukh Khan will do guest appearance in Love Breakups Zindagi

King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a guest appearance in the film Love Breakups Zindagi. Zayed Khan and Dia Mirza are producing the movie, which happens to be their first movie as producers. They had been suggesting for many days, that there is going to be a surprise in the film. So this is the surprise.
However, Shah Rukh Khan was neither the first nor the natural choice for the cameo role. Actually, Zayed wanted his brother-in-law and the dashing Hrithik Roshan to do a cameo. However, his dates could not be adjusted with the shooting of Love Breakups Zindagi. That is why SRK was roped in.
But Dia Mirza was of the opinion that Shah Rukh Khan was the best bet for playing a cameo role. The reason was that both Dia and Zayed know Shah Rukh very well. Moreover, SRK is also ready to help his friends out whenever he can do it.
Another reason is, SRK has finished his shooting of Ra.One and could spare some time to attend to the offer of Dia and Zayed. Therefore, taking into consideration all these points, Shah Rukh Khan was the final choice over Hrithik Roshan.

Some days ago we had reported to you about the extra long kiss between Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. There were reports emanating that the kissing scene was to be cut down and so also the chemistry between the two would be toned down.

Hrithik said that the kissing scene has been done with quite a lot of conviction and that is why it is going to appeal to the people. It looks realistically convincing. However, when Hrithik came back from the shooting of his earlier film Agneepath, he was shocked to hear that he was trying to bring pressure on the director of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to bring down the level of intimacy.

There were also reports that Hrithik is not doing too well with Zoya Akhtar – the director of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The macho star was fast enough to rubbish off the news as rumors. He said that Zoya Akhtar happens to be the only director with whom he has done with films. The other director is, of course, his father.

Karan Johar has announced on his Twitter page that the Hrithik Roshan starrer Agneepath will be released in January 2012. Karan posted, “Agneepath releases on January 13th, 2012”, this is what he said on Twitter. Agneepath is the remake of the 1980 classic with the same name.

Hrithik Roshan will play the role of the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, the famous character of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan. In the female lead, there will be Priyanka Chopra. However, Karan Johar has decided to shelve off the entire character of Mithun Chakraborty.

Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of a villain. To prepare himself for the role, he has gone completely bald. Apart from that, he has even gained weight and some muscles. In addition to this, he will be seen with loads of tattoos on his arms. The veteran Rishi Kapoor will also be seen in the negative role.

If you remember a little history of the original Agneepath, it was not a successful film. However, the characterization of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan by Amitabh Bachchan was extremely appreciated. The Big B had even won the Best Actor award for this film.
