Three heroines to feature in Ek Thi Daayan

For the joint production of Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj titled Ek Thi Daayan, as many as three heroines are likely to feature. These three ladies are Konkona Sen Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin. Though it is still not confirmed if all these three lead actresses will feature, it is more likely that they will.

These three heroines will be seen in the trailers of the film if things fall in place. They are likely to be the ‘face’ of the ‘daayan’ in the trailer. Earlier, it was Rani Mukharjee who was offered the lead role in the film. The film Ek Thi Daayan is based on a supernatural story.

As far as the three optimistic heroines are concerned, they do not find anything being uncomfortable featuring in the same film. Emraan Hashmi will be playing the male protagonist in the film. The trailers of the film will start from Friday – January 11.

There will be only Emraan in the first trailer. He will be discussing about the ‘qualities’ a ‘daayan’ should have.

Kalki Koechlin wants to look voluptuous like Huma Qureshi

The Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin has openly praised Huma Qureshi, the Pakistani actress for her looks. Kalki says that Huma is one damn good looking actress and wants to look as hot as her. According to Kalki, Huma is curvy and voluptuous. That is the reason why Kalki wants a figure like Huma.

Kalki Koechlin further said that there are various people who come in various shapes. That is why she cares the least about a popular tag like ‘zero figure’. Kalki admitted that she has been a skinny actress and wants to have something more in her, just the way Huma has. “I think she is really sexy,” is what Kalki says about the Pakistani actress.

But on a more mature note, Kalki said that Huma can’t have her body and she can’t have hers. They both are different individuals and that is the way they will live.

Huma Qureshi will be seen in her next film Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana. It was the film Gangs of Wasseypur that brought Huma in limelight. Kalki on the other hand will be seen in the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani by Karan Johar.

Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin go on a honeymoon

Finally Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin have got time off for their personal lives. The pair who got married recently was too busy to go on a honeymoon trip. Let alone the honeymoon trip, they were so busy that they did not literally have the time to talk to each other.

However finally they have some free time on their hands. The couple will use this to go for their first ever outing since their marriage. They will be heading off to Turkey. Well, this may sound as an unusual honeymoon destination. But that is what their plan is. Mr. Kashyap said that it was Kalki’s choice to spend their time in Turkey and that is why they will be going there.

After the success of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Kalki will be seen in her next film That Girl in Yellow Boots. There are some intimate scenes of Kalki in That Girl in Yellow Boots. As luck would have it, the film is directed by her husband Anurag Kashyap. He admitted that, as a husband, it was very tough directing his own wife in intimate scenes with some other man.

Kalki Koechlin denies reports of being pregnant

In one of the latest pregnancy reports, we have on the list Kalki Koechlin. However, Kalki Koechlin says that the reports are negative. Well, do not take it in the literal meaning – in a doctor’s language. In ‘reports’ we mean the news reports (and not a gynecologist’s reports; please don’t read between the lines).

The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara star has not been keeping good health of late. Due to that, she could not even be a part of the party whenever one was arranged. However, unlike Aishwarya Rai and Lara Dutta, who are already on their family way, there are no signs for Kalki yet.

But when will there be good news from her side? Well, the answer is straight from the head (we doubt if it has really come from the heart). Kalki does not want to become a mother for another ten years now. Now, isn’t that a long period? But that is what Kalki has told about her family planning.

Kalki is just recovering from malaria and she has already become rather thin. Weakness has gripped her. That is why she finds it even difficult to think of a family at this moment. But then does it take 10 years to recover?

Whatever, the news of Kalki not getting pregnant for another decade should come as a great relief to directors and producers in the film industry.

Kalki Koechlin denies differences with Katrina Kaif

Kalki Koechlin has come forward to make a statement saying there are no differences between her and her co-star Katrina Kaif. There were some reports some days back saying the two beauties do not bond well between them and that there are some differences. Kalki made this statement on Sunday in Gurgaon.

Kalki Koechlin, who recently got married, was let down by the fact that no one approached her for what she thought about Katrina Kaif. Her reason for sadness was that, everyone had taken it for granted that there is a rift between the two actresses.
Kalki was speaking about this issue when she was at the PVR Cinemas in Ambience mall, Gurgaon. She was there with the other male stars of the film with whom Katrina was also present. There were however, no reports of Katrina coming forward and speaking the issue.
The director of the film Zoya Akhtar and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani were also present on the occasion.
Kalki Koechlin has another film lined up with her Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara co-star Abhay Deol. This will be their second film together after Dev D.

Kalki Koechlin longs for a honeymoon with Anurag Kashyap

Director Anurag Kashyap and actress Kalki Koechlin has been married for around one and a half months now. However, the lady still has not got the new real life romance in her life going. The busy schedules of both the professionals have kept them away from their honeymoon. But after all, this will be Kalki’s first honeymoon unlike Anurag.

Even when the urge to go on a honeymoon is strong for Kalki, it all depends on when she gets enough free time for herself and her hubby. In fact, as soon as they were married, it was all work and no play for the two. Both got back to their professional life as if nothing special had happened in their lives.

Kalki Koechlin to star opposite Emraan Hashmi in Shanghai

After Shaitan, Kalki Koechlin will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi in Shanghai. Kalki Koechlin is growing professionally busier than being personally, after her marriage. The film will be Dibakar Banerjee’s political thriller. Kalki came into the limelight after her critically acclaimed performance in the film Dev D.

The film is the Hindi version of the Greek novelist Vassilis Vassilikos’ thriller Z. Z deals with the real life assassination of a vibrant political personality. There are a lot of expectations from Kalki in the movie. However, the director warns that the role of Kalki should not be judged on face value only.

Kalki Koechlin will play the role of a girl, who has taken her education in the US and who is young and angry. Her character is going to be very forceful. The director is confident that, Kalki will do justice to the role.

Anaurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin will host wedding reception

One of the latest couples in Bollywood to get married, famous director Anaurag Kashyap and actress Kalki Koechlin are planning to throw a big party. This party will be known as their wedding reception. The day and date for their reception has yet not been fixed. The reception will, of course, be hosted in Mumbai.

As there were literally no guests invited for the hush-hush wedding, both Anaurag and Kalki are pondering of inviting all the possible guests this time around. The date of the reception is held up due to some professional reasons so that it would make it possible for both of them to find time and remain free of any engagements.

Anaurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin recently got married in a purely traditional manner in Kalhatty, which is a small town near Ooty. The marriage took place under a mango tree, which is more than 100 years old.

Anurag Kashyap is getting married the second time in his life while for Kalki Koechlin, this is her first experience. Anurag Kashyap has a 10-year old daughter from his first marriage.

There was no pomp and gaiety and the marriage took place in a completely traditional way. Kalhatty, a little known town near Ooty, was the place where the two got married. You may find it interesting to hear that, the marriage took place under a mango tree, which is not less than 100 years old.

However, a natural look with decorations to the place was given which would fit any marriage hall. There were flower decorations and buntings hanging around. There were only about 40 guests who attended the ceremony. The guests included his director brother Abhinav Kashyap and his daughter and the close relatives of Kalki Koechlin.

Kalki will be seen in the next film called Shaitan. Interestingly, the film is produced by her husband, Anurag.
