Ajay Devgan charges Rs. 1 crore per day

As the fees for Salman Khan increased after 4 hits in a row, the same is for Ajay Devgan. It is learnt that Ajay Devgan is charging Rs. 1 crore as fee for one single day. That is obviously a huge figure. Some of his recent films have been a roaring success at the box office.

It is this success that could be one reason for Ajay Devgan to increase his fees. His latest film Bol Bachchan did excellently well at the box office. As a backdrop of this sensation, Ajay Devgan has been charging Rs. 7 crores for 7 days from a producer-cum-director.

The producer- director was aware of the fact that Ajay Devgan would be charging one crore rupees a day. However, he did not forget to mention that that is the fee Ajay does not charge even for an entire film. But the matter of the fact is that Ajay Devgan is earning on a daily basis with this new method.

Kajal Aggarwal will not don bikini

The south Indian star Kajal Aggarwal is a big name in Tollywood. With the film Singham, she has already made her Bollywood debut. However, she has said that she will not be donning a bikini. She added that everyone has reservations about what amount of skinshow they will be doing.

She further said that she does not think that only certain clothes are enough to make a film sell. Kajal also spoke about being linking up with other co-stars. She added that she has learnt to handle the link ups. Her motto about it is ignoring them from top to bottom.

As of now Kajal is working Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. However, she was frank in saying that she was very much willing to work with actors who are of her age. She feels that she should be able to relate to the roles that she is doing.

Coming to the film line was totally a matter of luck for Kajal who, if not an actress, would have otherwise completed her MBA.

Rohit Shetty ready for Bol Bachchan sequel?

Sequels have become the order of the day. If Rohit Shetty agrees, we might expect the sequel of Bol Bachchan very soon. The talented director has already given the hit Golmaal series. His latest release, Bol Bachchan has also been received very warmly by the audience. The director has not ruled out the possibility of a sequel to the film.

The director is already being termed as the Rs. 100 cr. man by someone like Karan Johar. He did not rule out the possibility of making the sequel when he had come to a theater to watch the movie amongst the audience. He was speaking at this time. Abhishek Bachchan who is also a part of the film was with Rohit Shetty.

The Jr. B is also a part of films like Dhoom and is also busy with Dostana 2. However, Abhishek was more than willing to do the sequel to the film. His only concern was persuading Ajay Devgan to work in the sequel as well.

Kareena Kapoor to play Prime Minister of India

After watching Katrina Kaif in Rajneeti as a woman politician, we may see Kareena Kapoor as the Prime Minister of India. Bebo will play the role in the next film by Prakash Jha, which is going to be a political sequel. By the way, this will be the first time that Kareena will be playing such a role.

If the role of Kareena Kapoor materializes, she will go de-glam. The shooting of the film is likely to start towards the end of 2012. It was understood that it was Ajay Devgan who suggested that Kareena should play the role of a female Prime Minister.

There looks to be no doubt that Kareena is also eager to don the role of a politician. After all, such roles are not offered every now and then. The catfight between Bollywood leading ladies is nothing new. This time it is Sameera Reddy and Mallika Sherawat. Both are a part of the same movie that they are working on. The film had an important item song, which was supposed to be shot on the south heroine. However, Mallika Sherawat was later chosen for the song.

That was a reason enough to put Sameera away from the developments regarding the item song. She did not want to be present to see Mallika dancing to the tunes of a song which she thought she would get to dance. The other stars like Zayed Khan and Ajay Devgan were however present during the shooting of the song.

Mallika Sherawat was the choice of the producer while the director wanted the song to be shot on Sameera. It was a win for the producer as Mallika was the final choice for the item song. These differences had already created a stir in the film world and were making news.

No doubt Sameera wanted to avoid Mallika as far as possible. There was already written in the media about this episode. It was but natural that Sameera did not want to be seen during the shooting of the song.

Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan starrer film Rascals is in troubles these days. The first production for Sanjay Dutt seems to be caught in the rough weather. Actually, the reasons for these are the rejection of multiplex theaters to show the film. That could prove to be a big setback for the film.

These days multiplex play a major role in screening of films. However, it does not seem to be the case for this film. This is what the actual problem is. There is a dispute between partners of Rupali Aum Entertainment, Sanjay Ahluwali and Vinay Choksey, and Cinemax Pvt. Ltd.

The story behind this dispute is that Cinemax paid Rs.2 crore, around three years ago, in 2008 for movie making. The CEO of Cinemax Sunil Punjabi says that their company, were to make movies. But their commitment did not get fulfilled. That is why there is this decision of boycotting this comedy film. “We will not release it in Cinemax multiplex chain” was the answer where Cinemax has 126 screens.

Shooting is yet in the pipeline; Krissh 3 sold out for Rs. 125 cr.

The shooting for the much talked of Krissh 3 is yet to begin. However, the financial profits for the film have begun already. The franchisee for the Rakesh Roshan film has already pocketed huge amounts. The rights have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs. 125 crores. With Hrithik Roshan in the lead, there is no wonder, that the film has got such rates.

Hrithik Roshan had a good hit in the form of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The success of the film had a lot to do with the huge amount pocketed as the rights of the film. There is another film that has got a good amount for the rights. We are talking about Ajay Devgan this time around.

His upcoming film Son of Sardar has got Rs. 80 crores. The Singham star is already a favorite amongst the distributors and that is the reason why the film got such a handsome amount. According to trade analysts both the actors are coming into the films with good hits to boast of. For that reason, these upcoming films should do well too.

The pose of Kajal Agarwal, they say, has been taken from the beauty from Hollywood Lindsay Lohan. She had posed for the Entertainment Weekly way back in the year 2004. Apart from Lindsay Lohan, there was another beauty from Italy, Monica Belucci, who was also seen in such a cute and sexy pose.

Kajal Aggarwal refuses film with Hrithik Roshan

The south hottie Kajal Aggarwal is on cloud nine after her success in Bollywood. However, she has refused to do a film opposite Hrithik Roshan. Post her Singham success opposite Ajay Devgan, there was a string of film offers for Kajal from various Bollywood producers. However, the beautiful lady did not accept a single offer.

Among those who offered her films were Vashu Bhagnani and Harry Baweja. Madhu Mantena was one such producer. Madhu has made the memorable film Ghajini. He wanted to remake the 2009 Telugu hit Magadheera with Kajal. As a matter of fact, Kajal was the leading lady in the original version of the film in Telugu.

In this film, Kajal was offered a role opposite Hrithik Roshan. However, due to Kajal’s refusal to do the film, the producer is now looking for another heroine. Don’t think that Kajal has grown attitude and refusing films after films from Bollywood.

In fact, Kajal Aggarwal is busy with her two films in Tamil and Telugu. That is why she could not take the offers in Bollywood.

Asin is short of a close friend in Bollywood

The south beauty Asin Thottumkal has done films in Bollywood with actors like Ajay Devgan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan – with Salman being her latest hero in the film Ready. She is also awaiting her forthcoming release Housefull 2 with Akshay Kumar. In spite of all this, Asin says that she does not have any close friend in Bollywood yet.

But what makes her think this when she has got the chance to work with so many renowned, famous and popular actors? Well, when we are asking this question, we are confusing the professional life with personal life. This is exactly what Asin has sorted out. She knows better than us where to draw the line.

As a matter of fact, almost all the actors she has worked with are seniors to her. Asin is just 26 years old while all the other actors are senior to her by around 15 years at least. That is why she has a lot of respect for them and holds them in high esteem.

Secondly, Asin feels that it takes a lot of time and efforts to build in a relationship which can be addressed as close friends.

In the meantime, Asin has been linked with Bollywood actor Neil Ninin Mukesh. Or let us say it has been vice versa. However, Neil has come forward to deny all the baseless news, terming them as rumors.
