Yash Raj Films gets a legal notice from Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn proved to be a completely professional man by sending a legal notice to Yash Raj Films. It is breaking news, almost literally as it has sent shock waves amongst many in Bollywood. It was totally unexpected considering the sad demise of the grand old man of Indian romantic cinema, Yash Chopra.

According to an insider, the notice was sent on October 18, only three days before Yash Chopra breathed his last. The notice was sent to the son of Yash, Aditya Chopra. The notice is regarding the respective films Son of Sardar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

According to Ajay Devgn the YRF has exercised their power in the industry to put pressure on the exhibitors. With this they wanted to give preference to their film ahead of Son of Sardar.

There was a general trend in the industry that Ajay Devgn, as a respect, would not release the film on the same date that Jab Tak Hai Jaan is releasing. Both films are set to release on November 13 – the all important day of Diwali.

As far as the YRF is concerned, they have said that they haven’t received any such notice as yet and will take appropriate action if required.

Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif to star in Yash Raj film

Two of the Bollywood’s most favorite stars – Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen opposite each other in the next film by Yash Raj. The film has not yet been titled. However, it is understood that the shooting has already started in London. It remains to be seen how people accept the Shah Rukh Khan-Katrina Kaif pair.

Not many details are available about the film until now. However, it is understood that the film revolved around a romantic angle between the two most dazzling stars of the Hindi film industry. It will certainly be a treat for the fans of both Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Katrina Kaif was shooting for the final stages of her film Ek Tha Tiger, which is on the brink of release. The shooting was underway in Cuba. Katrina flew to London straightaway. Another leading lady, Anushka Sharma is also a part of the film. She is yet to reach London for the shooting, though. The stars are expected to camp in the city for around 35 days.

It will be thrilling to see how Salman Khan reacts to these developments of Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif being paired opposite each other as all are aware how both the Khans aren’t on good terms with each other.

Shah Rukh Khan keen to work with Vidya Balan

After the resounding success of The Dirty Picture, the hot and sexy Vidya Balan has become everyone's favorite. The latest in her line of fans is none other than the King of Bollywood himself. Shah Rukh Khan expressed his desire to work with Vidya Balan. Of late, SRK has been praising Vidya a lot.

Yes, Vidya deserves all the praise from someone like SRK who is a seasoned actor himself. Shah Rukh said that he has not yet watched The Dirty Picture. However, he said that he had watched Vidya’s previous films like Ishqiya and Paa and also added that he loved the films a lot.

On the other hand, Vidya also expressed her wish to work with Shah Rukh Khan. Presently, Shah Rukh Khan is working on a Yash Raj film that is yet to be titled. He will be seen sharing the screen space with Katrina Kaif. Vidya Balan on the other hand is busy with her next venture Kahaani.

Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif to lead in Yash Raj film

 Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif will be playing the lead role in the upcoming Yash Raj film. The film is still untitled. It will be the first time that Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen as a leading pair on the silver screen. Yash Chopra will be directing this film.
It will be Yash Chopra’s first directorial venture in as many as seven years. His last film as a director was way back in the year 2004 which was titled Veer Zaara. The film that he will be directing now will be certainly be worth looking up to as there are big names associated with the film.
It is not only the protagonists, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. But the lyrics and the music are also associated with bigger names. The lyrics have been written by Gulzar while the music has been scored by none other than A R Rehman. Anushka Sharma of the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi fame will also be a part of the film.
Yash Copra initially was skeptical about directing a movie which features a lot of young talent like Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. However, the confidence in the grand old man, who is nearing 80 years, is worth looking up to.

Salman Khan to play a RAW agent in Ek Tha Tiger

In his forthcoming film Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan will be seen as a RAW agent. This will be the first time that Salman Khan will be playing such an important role in life. Salman has hardly ever played such a role before in his life. Ek Tha Tiger is a Yash Raj film to be directed by Kabir Khan.

Salman Khan may yet be reeling under the influence of the Chulbul Pandy fame in Dabangg. However, playing the role of a RAW agent will not be that easy for Salman. The reason is that it is a realistic role and far too different from that of the character of Chulbul Pandey.

After Salman was approached for the role by Aditya Chopra and as soon as he heard the script, he decided to go for the role. This was also going to be the test of his character as an actor. One important thing though, Salman will have to get into the RAW agent’s mindset by studying them. Only then can he bring out a performance worth appreciating.

The shooting of the film is likely to get underway towards the end of this year.
