Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur to marry in December

After the famous marriage of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur are set to tie the knot. If things fall in place, it will be a second bigwig marriage in Bollywood in around two months. The date for the marriage is fixed as December 14.

The two love birdies have been dating each other for at least a couple of years now. The two had met on the sets of the film No One Killed Jessica and since then there was no looking back. The dating was really a secret affair and was kept a secret for quite a long time.

After the success of the film, No One Killed Jessica, there was no looking back for Vidya. Her next film – The Dirty Picture proved to be the highlight of her career as it was one of the most finely accepted films for Vidya. After that Kahaani too became a hit and Vidya had three hit films in a row.

Vidya will now be seen in her next film titled Ghanchakkar. She will also be seen in the sequel to another film called Pyaar Ke Side Effects.

Vidya Balan to go on a vacation with family

Life has been hectic for Vidya Balan. And now it is time for the actress to go on a vacation. The holiday destination is likely to be the Caribbean. The actress understandably needs some time off after her busy schedule with films like The Dirty Picture and Kahaani.

A Caribbean cruise has been booked by the actress for around 15 to 18 days. The other family members will also be on board. Among those who will be present will be her sister Priya along with her brother-in-law. Vidya’s parents will also join their children on the voyage.

We should not forget that the boyfriend of the Vidya Balan, Siddhartha Roy Kapur, will be however absent from the trip. As a matter of fact, this particular tour is being planned for a long time now. Since August last year when Vidya became an aunt, they have been planning the vacation. It has finally materialized now.

Until the family leaves for the vacation, the actress will complete the shooting of Ghanchakkar.

Emraan Hashmi says he is luckier than Salman Khan

Salman Khan had recently said in a statement that Emraan Hashmi is one of the most underrated actors. Emraan Hashmi has had his share of comments when he said that he is luckier than Salman Khan just because he gets to kiss. Well, has Emraan Hashmi made this as a light-hearted comment?

Salman Khan has had successful films like Bodyguard, Dabangg and the most recent being Ek Tha Tiger. All the films have made huge business at the box office. However, that does not mean that he is fortunate, in Emraan’s eyes. The serial-kisser still believes that Salman Khan is unfortunate as he does not get to lock the lips.

However, Emraan Hashmi also has his share of successful films. Shanghai, The Dirty Picture, Jannat 2 and the latest being Raaz 3. He is also engaged with the shoot of Ek Thi Daayan as well as Ghanchakkar, which is a romantic comedy.

Vidya Balan calls doctor on the sets of Ghanchakkar

Vidya Balan is a true professional. It was evident from her approach on the sets of Ghanchakkar. When she fell ill during the shooting, she saved some valuable time by calling the doctor on the sets instead of going to the hospital herself. This shows the sincerity towards her work.

However, this is not the first time that she has fell ill during the shooting. She was not well, during the shoot of The Dirty Picture and had to be admitted to the hospital in Bandra. It was only when she felt good that the shooting could resume. But this time around, it looks as if she has taken a cue out of her own experience.

By giving a call to the doctor and asking him to come on the sets, she showed the insatiable hunger of performing no matter what her health said. This saved the day for the director, almost literally. Not a single day of the shooting was lost due to this.

Well, credit should certainly go to Vidya Balan for her sacrifice.

Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan to love in the rain

There has been news going on about the comedy film in which Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan will play the lead role. The film was supposed to go on the floors by September. However, now the shooting for the film will start by the beginning of August itself. The good thing is that there are positive reasons to see this change.

It looks like the director wants to save some precious water and instead make use of the natural rain waters. The reason is that the shooting of the Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan romance is scheduled to be done in the rains. Romancing in the Mumbai rains will certainly come by through the Rajkumar Gupta’s comedy film Ghanchakkar.

There were indeed very lucky developments for this particular shoot to materialize. Emraan Hashmi was initially busy to promote Raaz 3. However, due to some unavoidable reasons, the promos of the film had to be postponed. On the other hand, Vidya is currently doing only one film and so she has time on her hands.

So it was a lucky escape for the director to shoot the sequence of his choice.

Vidya Balan is a plain housewife

After Vidya Balan has donned the daring role of the south sex siren Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture and a hit in Kahaani, it is time for to turn a simple housewife. The 34-year old actress will have a totally new and different in Rajkumar Gupta’s next film Ghanchakkar. Rajkumar Gupta was the director of No One Killed Jessica.

Contrary to her roles in The Dirty Picture and Kahaani, the sexy lady will be seen only as a simple housewife. It is one such character than Vidya has hardly been seen so far. A look at Vidya’s career shows that she has played roles that have been in unusual circumstances.

In the film Vidya will be portrayed as only a common woman who does not have any glamour along with her. There is nothing out of the way that takes place with her. If Vidya’s other roles are considered, all have something exceptional touch to them.

She has had numerous roles as these. Therefore, essaying a role of a simpleton will also be a challenge both for the director as well as for Vidya Balan.
