Vidya Balan has finally tied the knot with SRK. Well, do not misread SRK as Shah Rukh Khan, but SRK is the term that Vidya has coined for Siddharth Roy Kapur. The two of them got married in a Tamil and Punjabi style marriage. It was a pretty quiet ceremony for the couple.

 The Bollywood actress is actually from a Tamil background, while Siddharth Roy Kapur has a Punjabi background. Call it coincidence, but it was Vidya’s beau who had produced the film No One Killed Jessica.

It was a matter of keeping both the traditions in mind when exchanging the vows. That is why the marriage was a mix of both the Tamil and the Punjabi traditions. There was the presence of only the close family members and friends.

Some days ago we had reported to you about the marriage date of Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The next news is that the couple will be hosting their reception in the metropolitan city of Chennai. However, the head of the UTV Pictures is not really ready to divulge more details.

The reason for hosting the reception in Chennai is pretty simple. Vidya hails from Chennai and that is why the reception will be there. No more details are available about anything more. They are keeping everything close to their chest. However, like the wedding the reception is also likely to be a sedate affair.

But there are some details available. The marriage will be a mix of Punjabi and Tamil cultures. The couple will have a sangeet ceremony according to the Punjabi style on December 11 and a Tamilian wedding on December 14.

Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur to marry in December

After the famous marriage of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur are set to tie the knot. If things fall in place, it will be a second bigwig marriage in Bollywood in around two months. The date for the marriage is fixed as December 14.

The two love birdies have been dating each other for at least a couple of years now. The two had met on the sets of the film No One Killed Jessica and since then there was no looking back. The dating was really a secret affair and was kept a secret for quite a long time.

After the success of the film, No One Killed Jessica, there was no looking back for Vidya. Her next film – The Dirty Picture proved to be the highlight of her career as it was one of the most finely accepted films for Vidya. After that Kahaani too became a hit and Vidya had three hit films in a row.

Vidya will now be seen in her next film titled Ghanchakkar. She will also be seen in the sequel to another film called Pyaar Ke Side Effects.
