Prachi Desai will romance Sanjay Dutt

Bollywood knows no age barrier when it comes to romancing. The example is Prachi Desai romance Sanjay Dutt in their upcoming film. The film they will be acting in is the remake of the Tamil film Saamy. The shooting will soon get underway in Hyderabad. It was Sonakshi Sinha before who had agreed to romance an actor who was her senior.

There is no wonder that Prachi Desai has given nod to working with Sanjay Dutt. She is now looking to work with established actors in Bollywood post her success in Bol Bachchan. That will give her more advantage as an actress and more chances of the film becoming a hit.

However, in some of her previous films, she was seen with actors in their 30s. In Rock On she was seen with Farhan Akhtar, in Life Partner with Tusshar Kapoor and with Emran Hashmi in Once Upon a time in Mumbaai. However, as a small screen debutant, she featured opposite Ram Kapoor in Kasamh Se.

Prachi Desai won’t return to the small screen

The beautiful and the chirpy Prachi Desai has said that she has no plans of returning to the small screen – the place from where she began her professional career. Prachi Desai became a well-known face after she was recognized for her role in Kasamh Se.

She said that she has said farewell to the small screen for good. However, she said that as it was the small screen that gave her the identity and the fame she has today, she will always remain in her heart. But at the same time she said that the small screen is getting bigger and bigger day by day.

The big screen mega stars are making their presence felt on the small screen. The TV has become a great medium for the Bollywood stars to connect with their fans – be it the promotion of a film or a reality show.

Prachi Desai had won the second season of the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa five years ago. Rock On! was her first film the next year. She became a household name with her previous film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai with Emraan Hashmi a couple of years ago.

Kareena Kapoor in the sequel of Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai

Talks are on to make the sequel of the successful film Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai. Kareena Kapoor, it is said, may be in the leading role in the film. The work for the sequel with soon start as the director, Milan Luthria is soon going to start the work. However, the work has yet not started.

Coming back to the point, Kareena Kapoor has been approached for the role of the leading lady. Yet Bebo had not given any response whether she would like to act in the film or not. Her response is yet awaited. However, the male protagonist has already been finalized. It will be Akshay Kumar.

Bhatts want Prachi Desai to be sexier in Informer

After the string of successes of their steamy films with the likes of Emraan Hashmi, Mallika Sherawat and Jacqueline Fernandes, the Bhatts now want Prachi Desai to show off her sexiness in their upcoming film Informer. For that, they want Prachi to be bolder and show herself off. They are not averting to getting the ‘sexy’ tag to Prachi Desai.

Dabangg bags six awards at the IIFA in Toronto

It was a field day for the film Dabangg, as it bagged as many as six awards at the 12th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) in Toronto. Here is the list of awards Dabangg received. The first award was of course, for the best screenplay. The second award was for the best playback singer (female), while the third one was for the best playback singer (male).
Dabangg also got the award for the best music director. The fifth award went to Sonu Sood for his best performance in a negative role and Sonakshi Sinha won the best female actor award (debut). All in all, it were the awards on a highly expected line, which almost went according to the script.
The best actor award went to Shah Rukh Khan for his role in the film My Name is Khan. Anushka Sharma won the best actress award for the film Band Baaja Baaraat.
The best supporting actor (male) award went to Arjun Rampal for his role in the political thriller Raajneeti. The best supporting actor (female) went to Prachi Desai for her characterization in the film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai.

Prachi Desai is jealous of Jacqueline Fernandez?

Prachi Desai is one of the prominent and promising newcomers in Bollywood and so is Jacqueline Fernandez. However, let us be honest to say that Jacqueline Fernandez is hotter than Prachi Desai. She has been successful in stealing the limelight of late and that has helped her cause in more ways than one.

Prachi Desai will play a seductress in Informer

Even after getting the sequel to Murder, the Bhatt camp is not over with the hot and steamy scenes on screen and is coming up with Informer. After Jacqueline Fernandez, it is now the turn of Prachi to turn the heat on. She will be seen in the next Bhatt film titled Informer.

Till only yesterday, Prachi was a very much ‘Indian’ girl who was shying away from doing a kissing scene on screen. But now, she too has left the tag off her and is very much in the mainstream actresses of Bollywood. Kunal Deshmukh is the director of the film.

No doubt, it will be a new-born Prachi Desai for all of us to see. The official announcement of the film is expected to be made in the coming week or so. Fox Star is the co-producer for the film along with Mahesh Bhatt.

However, this will not be the first time that Prachi is engaged in some hot scenes. Just months ago, she was involved in an important role in the film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. The experience will help Prachi get going in Informer.

Prachi Desai will not kiss John Abraham on screen

Like Neil Nitin Mukesh, even Prachi Desai has decided not to kiss her co-stars on screen. In the film, John Abraham and Prachi Desai were supposed to plant a sensuous kiss right on each others’ lips. However, Prachi has been literally dictating her terms that a lip-lock on the screen is a strict no-no for her.

But there was no other choice either for the director either. John Abraham plays a character that suits the kissing scene perfectly. According to prior plans, Prachi and John were supposed to exchange kisses. However, after Prachi’s persistent refusals, there was no option in front of the director but to make some last minute changes.

Now, instead of Prachi Desai, it will be another hot actress, Chitrangada Singh who will step into Prachi’s shoes. The kissing scene has been retained, but the actress has been changed for its sake. The pair of John and Chitrangada Singh will be seen for the first time on the silver screen. The shooting of the film will get underway soon.

According to close sources from Prachi Desai, apart from the kissing scene, she is open to discuss things which are related to her character in the role. She is perfectly fine with those things.

It’s A Race Between Prachi And Chitrangada

There is still no thought of unity between producer Ekta Kapoor and director Sudhir Mishra as to who would be the leading lady of ‘Driver’. There are these creative differences which are often to be seen between the professionals in the entertainment industry. Ekta and Sudhir made talks about such a film, keeping in mind Prachi Desai.
Now the director is insisting on Chitrangada Singh in the lead role at the same time as Ekta is not ready to budge. She thinks Prachi is best suited to play the lead role as she looks much in her twenties. On the other hand, the director wants Chitrangada Singh in the lead role. He thinks that she is mature enough to play the lead role.
According to the close sources, there is a fear that if the impasse continues, the project itself might not even take off. Now, it’s wait-and-watch for us.
