Milan Luthria wants making films with Jacqueline Fernandez

Director Milan Luthria seems to be a fan of Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez. He now wants making films with her. Jacqueline has worked with other directors like Abbas-Mastan, Mohit Suri and Sajid Khan.

Aladin, in which she made her Bollywood debut in 2009 was directed by Sujoy Ghosh was also a director she has worked with. And now, it is not the actress, but the director himself who wants to cast her in his film.

Terming her as an interesting and upcoming actress, Milan Luthria said that he had termed the flick Kick as a new beginning for her. Jacqueline was seen in Kick opposite Salman Khan. Kick was Sajid Nadiadwala’s first film as a director.

Though the debut film for Jacqueline Fernandez doomed at the box office, Milan Luthria was sharp enough to spot the talent in the actress. Speaking further about the actress, the director said that he would really happy if he gets a chance to work with the actress from Sri Lanka.

As of now, Jacqueline Fernandez is busy with the shoot of her latest flick Roy. In Roy, she will be seen in a double role.

Milan Luthria and Saif Ali Khan to work together

After the success of Milan Luthria’s The Dirty Picture it will be the first time that he and Saif Ali Khan will work with each other. In fact it will be after as many as 13 long years in the industry that the two will be working together once again.

The two had worked with each other in the 1999 film Kacche Dhagge. Bhushan Kumar and Milan Luthria had made the film then. Since that film, Milan Luthria and Saif Ali Khan never got paired again.

Bhushan Kumar said that he was very much thrilled to work with Saif again. He said that they are looking forward to work with Saif Ali Khan on the project again. Milan Luthria is currently busy with the sequel to his film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

The shooting with Saif will begin once Milan is free with the current project.

Vidya Balan gets the Best Actress National Award

The Vidya Balan and Dirty Picture wave has swept the country like anything. After ruling the Filmfare Awards sometime back, the sexy 33-year-old actress got the Best Actress National Award. Needless to say she got the award for her portrayal of the late sex bomb Silk Smitha.

However, Vidya is yet to come out of the ‘shock’ she got when she was selected for the best actresses award at the national level at the 59th edition. She said that she wanted to believe in the fact that she has indeed won that prestigious award. The film was directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor.

The film was appreciated a lot by one and all. That is the reason why Vidya Balan deservingly won the country’s most special title in the film world. The Dirty Picture not only earned a good amount of money, but also brought back the memories of Silk Smitha.

Dirty Pictures also did a lot good to Vidya Balan as well as brought out her strength of character in playing the southern sex icon.

Kareena Kapoor in the sequel of Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai

Talks are on to make the sequel of the successful film Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai. Kareena Kapoor, it is said, may be in the leading role in the film. The work for the sequel with soon start as the director, Milan Luthria is soon going to start the work. However, the work has yet not started.

Coming back to the point, Kareena Kapoor has been approached for the role of the leading lady. Yet Bebo had not given any response whether she would like to act in the film or not. Her response is yet awaited. However, the male protagonist has already been finalized. It will be Akshay Kumar.

In the original movie – Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai, the female cast was played by the beautiful Prachi Desai. As far as the sequel goes, Kareena is to be confirmed yet. It is yet difficult to predict what decision she takes. Keep your fingers crossed to know more.

Siddharath Roy Kapoor loves Vidya Balan like anything

What’s wrong in loving someone? Ask Siddharath Roy Kapoor about Vidya Balan and you will know all’s right. As a matter of fact, Siddharath is not too happy about his girlfriend’s extremely hot scenes in her upcoming film The Dirty Picture. He seems to be so possessive of Vidya, that he has asked her to request the production house to tone down the explicit scenes.

It is not that Siddharath Roy Kapoor did not know the details of the hot scenes in the film. However, there has been a sudden spat in the publicity and it seems the guy is finding it difficult to handle it.

However, it once again seems to be a publicity gimmick. A close source of Siddharath Roy Kapoor said that he knows what acting is all about as he himself is a part of the industry. The source also said that Siddharath will be happy if the film does well due to the acting calibers of Vidya.

The director of the film Milan Luthria also seconded the fact that there was no such request from Vidya to make any changes in any of the scenes. It will go on as planned, he added.

Dirty Picture to be released on Silk Smitha’s birthday

The date for the release of Ekta Kapoor’s ambitious film Dirty Picture, which is based on Silk Smitha’s life, has been finalized. The date has been fixed as December 2. This day is special not only for the film’s release, but also for the actress on whose life the film is made.

December 2 happens to be the birthday of the sex bomb. Therefore, the film will be released on that day, keeping the coincidence in mind. The initial date for the film’s release was being contemplated sometime in November. However, as Silk Smitha’s birthday was just round the corner, waiting for some more days was the best option.

The lead actress Vidya Balan is also excited at the thought of the release of the date. This is Vidya’s most challenging role so far. She has really pushed herself to the point of making her fit for the role. The success of the film will be a big plus in for her career and will add a new feather in her coveted cap of hits.

However, one of the steamy scenes with Emraan Hashmi, which has really been one of the highlights of the film, has gone on so well that, it may create a controversy. Certainly, it is a big complement for Vidya Balan.

Kareena Kapoor refuses to play the character of Mandakini

Just as we reported to you about Kareena Kapoor ready to play the character of former Bollywood actress Mandakini, we are again here to report about Bebo. Kareena did a swift U-turn and has refused to play the role in the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. The film was to be directed by the director of Dirty Picture, Milan Luthria.
But what has put of Kareena Kapoor? Well, for those who don’t know this, here is a little background. The former Bollywood actress, Mandakini is specially remembered even today for the film Ram Teri Ganga Maili, which was a super hit film.
This meant that Kareena would have to do this popular scene, which is the heart of Ram Teri Ganga Maili. And indeed Kareena was required to do it. However, the director Milan Luthria had allowed Kareena to have her own take on the shot. He was okay even if Kareena did not go to that extent as what Mandakini did.
But the thought of wearing a see-through white saree and that too while getting wet in water, is what could have put Kareena off. Actually, Bebo was not comfortable doing these scenes. Maybe that’s why Kareena Kapoor withdrew from the film.
Incidentally, the film Ram Teri Ganga Maili was produced as well as directed by Kareena’s grandfather – the legendary Raj Kapoor.

Emraan Hashmi spurs up Vidya Balan’s Dirty Picture shooting

Currently, Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan are shooting for Milan Luthria’s Dirty Picture. For one particular shot Vidya Balan needed to shoot alone. It was actually a photo shoot. As Vidya was alone in the shots, Emraan Hashmi was killing time on the sets. As his head was empty, the devil struck him.

He thought of playing a prank on Vidya Balan. He got himself a glass of soft drink and started drinking it on the sets while strolling around. He threw an occasional glare at Vidya. She initially ignored him. However, the shoot was going to be a sensuous affair – it has to be when it is Silk Smitha.

Emraan kept gazing at Vidya until she got distracted. She asked the production guys to get him away as it was disturbing her. However, there was nothing that could distract Emraan. On the contrary, he started winking at her making some gestures which were enough to make Vidya fume with anger and lose her focus.

Vidya needed to concentrate as the photo shoot was a sensuous one. When she thought it was too much, he got up in rage and threatened to leave the shooting midway if Emraan was not whisked away. However, there was laughter on the sets and everyone joined in and so did Emraan.

It was then that Vidya Balan came to know that a prank was being played on her and she felt like a fool of herself out of embarrassment.

Even bulls are attracted to Vidya Balan

Would you believe it that the sexiness of Vidya Balan is spreading to the animal world too? Well, there is nothing to believe in it as Vidya is indeed that sexy. And why point out animals any differently? Even man is an animal and he is also attracted to Vidya Balan, isn’t it?

It so happened that, Vidya Balan was shooting for Milan Luthria’s Dirty Picture. The particular scene was required to be shot in the open at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao Film City. Another thing which needs to be mentioned is that, Vidya had donned a red gown.

After seeing the red gown on her (and probably the sexiness of Vidya Balan), a couple of bulls there, started to make their way towards her. Certainly, Vidya might be looking smoking hot in that red gown. Let us agree bulls have a better eye to spot sexy and hot women.

However, the production boys present there shooed them away. But it was a topic (for us to write) of fun for Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor. They said even bulls are now attracted to Vidya.

Milan Luthria gives Vidya Balan Burlesque and Chicago DVDs

Director of Dirty Pictures, Milan Luthria has given Vidya Balan the DVDs of Burlesque and Chicago. The reason? Well, he does not want to leave any stone unturned in convincing Vidya, that the role she is playing, that of Silk Smitha, does not mean that it is giving her an image of soft porn.

Vidya was skeptical about the film being tagged as a soft porn film. That is why, the director gave her the DVDs to study how there can be examples of strong and tough sexual desires in women as well. Milan wants Vidya to study the roles of Ingrid Bergman.

The director feared that Vidya Balan might misinterpret the ideas he wants to convey through her about Silk Smitha. That is why he wanted to make the role of the character clear. As expected, the move paid off, as Vidya was impressed a lot after watching the film Burlesque.

It was at least through this film that Milan Luthria could pass over the message to Vidya. ‘I am now commanding more respect from Vidya’, Milan laughs off.
