Deepika Padukone busy with Screen Awards 2014 rehearsals

Deepika Padukone is busy with the rehearsals for the Screen Awards 2014. These dance rehearsals will ultimately showcase the efforts that the actress has taken when she performs on the award nights. In the rehearsals, she was seen in a black tracksuit and looked pretty gorgeous.

The awards night is today itself – on January 14 and these are the 20th Annual Screen Awards 2014. Deepika had a great 2013 and she is one of the apt actresses to perform at the awards show. She had as many as four hits during the last year and success was following her all the year long.

Deepika herself has been nominated for the Best Actress (Female) award for two of her films. One of the films is Chennai Express, opposite Shah Rukh Khan and the second film is opposite her flame Ranveer Singh, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.

Madhuri Dixit and Huma Qureshi promote Dedh Ishqiya on Comedy Circus

Madhuri Dixit and Huma Qureshi were the guest judges on the popular show Comedy Circus on Sony TV. The two ladies were actually there to promote their film Dedh Ishqiya. They were at the show from the start to the end and seemed to enjoy the live comedy that they were watching in front of their eyes.

Dedh Ishqiya is a film that depicts the romance between the individuals who are caught between a net of passion, crime coupled with suspense. Apart from Madhuri and Huma, Arshad Warsi apart from Naseeruddin Shah. The film has released on January 10, 2014.

The film is also doing good business and according to the latest reports, it has collected Rs. 10 crores in the domestic market. However, some distributors are a tad unhappy seeing the collection. But on the other hand, some people are giving full marks to the film as it is not a masala film.

Aamir Khan is promoting Salman Khan’s ‘Jai Ho’

Very rarely does this happen that one superstar promotes the film for another superstar. However, Aamir Khan is currently promoting Salman Khan’s ‘Jai Ho’ and is doing the same as what Salman had done for him.

In the recently concluded season of Bigg Boss Saath 7, Salman Khan was seen promoting the film Dhoom 3 for Aamir Khan. In one of the episodes, Salman was also even seen sporting a Dhoom 3 hat. The film shattered records all over and set new benchmarks in a matter of a few days.

As a matter of fact, Aamir wasn’t pretty much involved in the promotion of Dhoom 3 and relatively kept himself away from the media glare. But the purpose was already served and the film went on to become a huge hit.

Now, it is time for Aamir to return the favor. Promoting Salman’s film, Aamir tweeted, “12 days to go...’Jai Ho’!” yesterday.

The two were seen in the film Andaz Apna Apna, which was a comedy film released exactly 20 years back.

Another Satyamev Jayate this time by Salman Khan

The Indian TV world may see another Satyamev Jayate very soon. However, it will not be Aamir Khan, but Salman Khan who will be doing the show. He says that the show will be a different one and that it will have more of an entertainment quotient as well. The show is expected to start only the next year.

Salman Khan has hosted the most number of seasons of the reality show Bigg Boss. Apart from that he also hosted Dus Ka Dum a few years back. So, hosting a reality show is nothing new to Salman Khan. However, the topic and a show that we are talking about are totally different.

The Dabangg star expressed confidence that the show will soon change many a thing. However, the show will have social causes as the backbone to rely on. Salman himself said that he will be hosting the show. There are now hardly any guesses on this matter.

He however, refused to divulge any further details.

Deepika Padukone spends birthday with Ranveer Singh in US

Deepika Padukone turned 28 years old on Sunday, January 5 this year. And the birthday celebrations were marked by Deepika spending the day with her beau Ranveer Singh in the US. The two were in New York for the day, as a matter of fact.

There were a few onlookers who spotted the couple in the city and the pictures were then tweeted. And as Bollywood actresses (and even actors) hardly acknowledge their affair, so was the stance of Deepika. She has never openly admitted to the relationship with Ranveer.

Deepika was on the chat show Koffee with Karan. There too show was asked about her relationship with Ranveer Singh. And to a question she answered, “Am I dating him?” However, she was diplomatic when answering the question about openly admitting her love for Ranveer.

John Abraham marries Priya Runchal

If the reports are anything to go by, Bollywood actor John Abraham has married Priya Runchal. John had started dating Priya Runchal when he broke up with his actress girlfriend Bipasha Basu after a long relationship of nearly 10 years. But why say ‘reports’ when John himself has confirmed the news on his Twitter page?

The marriage was a private affair for the actor, who got married to Priya in the Los Angeles, United State. It was John who himself came up with the confirmation of the news along with a Happy New Year message on Twitter.

In the message he added the last name Abraham to Priya’s name. John’s Twitter message read something like this:

“Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed 2014! May this year bring you love, good fortune and joy. Love, John and Priya Abraham.” – @TheJohnAbraham

John and Priya were spending their holidays in the US and that’s why only a few family friends were present and it was a private affair for both the families.

Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji to get married soon

Producer Aditya Chopra and Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji have decided to move forward with their relationship. They now plan to get married soon. They have been dating each other for a long time now and the reports of their marriage also surfaced many times in the media.

If the reports are anything to go by, the two will be tying the knot at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur. The date has also been fixed for February 10. It must be mentioned that Umaid Bhavan Palace is the same place where Nita Ambani had recently hosted her birthday party.

As far as the marriage is concerned, there is still no word from Aditya’s side. The two families want the marriage to be something of their very own ceremony and wouldn’t want anyone to disrespect their private space.

Dhoom 3 nearing collections of Rs 400 crore

Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan showed how it is done. The superstar acted in the third installment of Dhoom – Dhoom 3 and the film is breaking and setting records all over. There is hardly any place in the entertainment world where Dhoom 3 hasn’t had its say.

Dhoom 3 had reached collections of Rs 300 crores – worldwide – in only eight days flat. There has been no looking for the star ever since the film released and it has been an upward graph for everyone involved. The film has set new benchmarks with exceptional box office collections of more than Rs. 350 crores at the moment.

In fact, as of Monday, the collections stood at Rs. 368.23 crores. There might have hardly been a film that has been so successful in such a short period of time. The success of Dhoom 3 is exceptional, no doubt.
