Gauhar Khan wins Bigg Boss season 7

Gauhar Khan became the winner of the Bigg Boss season 7. She beat the favorite Tanisha Mukherjee. Ajaz Khan and Sangram Singh were the other two contestants who made the final four of the reality show.

Speaking after winning the show, Gauhar Khan said that she was confident of winning the title this season. However, she did admit that she never expected to win it. She confirmed it when only she along with Tanisha were left as both Ajaz Khan and Sangram Singh got eliminated one by one.

Salman Khan announced the winner as he held the hand of both the ladies. To his right was Tanisha and to the left was Gauhar. And Salman raised his left hand to proclaim Gauhar as the winner of Bigg Boss Saath 7.

Gauhar said that she felt lucky to have won the show. She also said that she was grateful to the audience and the fans who voted for her. Gauhar Khan won an award of Rs. 50 lakhs in cash as well as a trophy.

She spent 104 days in the house of Bigg Boss.

Bollywood actor Farooq Sheikh passes away at 65

Senior Bollywood actor Farooq Sheikh passed away suddenly due to a heart attack. He was 65. He breathed his last in Dubai. Bollywood super stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan were among the first to pay their homage to the departed soul. Actress Deepti Naval also expressed her shock.

The actress was a close friend of Farooq Sheikh, who had worked together in films like Chashme Baddoor,'Kissi Se Na Kehna as well as Katha.

Sarika also expressed her shock upon hearing the death of the actor. Sarika and Farooq Sheikh had worked together in his last film titled Club 60. Sarika said that he was pretty healthy at the time of their last meeting. It was just 10 days ago that the two had met.

The actress said that Farooq Sheikh was a real gentleman and loved food pretty much. He was a foodie, Sarika added.

Veena Malik marries businessman in Dubai

Veena Malik has always been in the news for more controversies than anything else. But now, she is in the news for her marriage to a Dubai-based businessman. Yes, that’s right. Veena Malik has married a businessman in Dubai. The businessman and Veena’s husband is Asad Bashir Khan Khattak.

Veena tweeted “I have found my Soul mate.... my Friend...my Partner!!!” Veena Malik is a Pakistani actress and model who also hosts TV shows. The 29-year old lady married the man who is supposedly the son of the friend of her father.

A certain news channel also came up with the couple’s picture with wedding rings. The footage also showed the couple meeting their relatives. Veena was understandably excited. She said that she feels being the happiest girl in the world (on account of her marriage).

Veena Malik didn’t speak a lot about her marriage. However, the only thing she said was that the people and her fans would come to know about the details of her marriage soon.

Actress Payal Rohatgi wants boyfriend Sangram Singh to win Bigg Boss 7

Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi’s boyfriend Sangram Singh is in the Bigg Boss house and she wants him to win the Bigg Boss 7. Sangram Singh, who is a wrestler, is in the house along with Tanisha. Payal wants Sangram to get more votes and come out victorious.

Payal Rohatgi even appealed to vote for Sangram so that he could score more than Tanisha. She further added that she has plans for the New Year celebrations. These plans include things that will stop her from fighting with Sangram. Not fighting with Sangram seems to be Payal’s New Year resolution.

As far as the reality show is concerned, apart from Tanisha Mukherjee, Sangram Singh has other contestants to compete with like Ajaz Khan and Gauahar Khan. It can be recalled that Payal also was a contestant of the show in an earlier season where she was being related to Rahul Mahajan.

The finale of the show will be aired on the Colors channel on tomorrow – Saturday.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to celebrate the New Year in the US

It is X-Mas today and party time and the New Year is also round the corner. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have their plans of celebrating the New Year in the US. It is understood that they have already left India for the US to usher in the Christmas as well as the New Year.

The lovebirds will be spending time together away from the world in a world of their own. However, they will be amongst the crowds when it comes to welcoming 2014. The couple will be in New York according to a close source who didn’t want to be named.

Both stars were busy until yesterday as they were with their respective films. Katrina was promoting Dhoom 3 and Ranbir was busy with Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos. Both completed their respective jobs on hand and now have free time on their hands.

The success of Dhoom 3 should give another reason for Katrina to celebrate. The couple is expected to be back by mid January and Katrina will once again get busy with her work. The shooting of Bang Bang awaits her.

Dhoom 3 breaking box office records all over

Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 has been breaking box office records all over the place. The film has crossed Rs. 200 crores worldwide. The exact figure according to analysts is Rs. 202.50 crores in four days since the film released on Friday, which was a non-holiday release.

Taran Adarsh, who is a trade analyst has said in a tweet, “So here’s Fri to Mon total of Dhoom3... India Rs. 129.32 cr + Overseas Rs. 73.17 cr. Worldwide total: Rs. 202.49 cr. MIND-BOGGLING!”

The film is indeed taking Bollywood records by storm as it is passing the recent records set by other prominent blockbuster movies of this year as well as recent times. The film is likely to keep the performance going high as there are Christmas and New Year holidays around.

That is why the film is likely to keep gaining at the box office the way it has been since it released last Friday. The film stars Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in the lead.

Deepika Padukone wants to work with Aamir Khan and Salman Khan

Deepika Padukone has worked with top heroes in Bollywood already. But her wish to act with super stars like Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan along with Aamir Khan still remains to be realized. However, those actors whom she has worked with are Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and her rumored beau Ranbir Kapoor.

The dusky actress while speaking in an interview said that she is asked which actors she would like to work with. But now, her answers are pretty much confirmed for now. The list of the actors that Deepika wants to work with is Krrish 3 star Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan who has delivered a string of hits and Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

It must be mentioned that Deepika hasn’t worked with any of these actors mentioned above. And no wonder, she wants to share the screen space with them. It is being rumored that Deepika has been cast opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya’s next film. However, there is still no confirmation from the actress.

Sanjay Dutt once again gets parole

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is serving a jail term, has got parole once again. The parole period is of one month’s time. The parole has been granted for taking care of his unwell wife, Manyata. The actor has been stationed at the Yerwada Central Jail in Pune and he has left for Mumbai.

Sanjay Dutt had applied for a parole for one month to be with his wife who has not been keeping well. He, in his parole said that he wanted to take care of Manyata, who had complained of weight loss and chest pain.

Ajay Chaughule, who is the cardiologist of Mrs. Dutt, said that she was recording uneven heart beats and also had a reasonably big tumor in the liver. It is not the first time that Sanjay Dutt got a parole. He got parole for one fortnight on account of being sick on October 1.

The parole period was for 15 days first and was given an extension of 15 more days and he came back to jail on October 30.
