Ram Gopal Varma’s latest find Nathalia Kaur will be seen in
his upcoming film Department. Rana Daggubati will be seen as the
protagonist in the film. Nathalia Kaur has been making headlines these days and
RGV is looking to cash in on her growing popularity in India.
Nathalia Kaur, who is an Indo-Brazilian was supposed to do an
item song in the film only. Things were off to a start as Ram Gopal Varma had
even ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya to work with Nathalia on the song. The item
number “Dan Dan” looked like it would certainly rock.
However, Ram Gopal Varma has a different version to say. He said
that Nathalia Kaur isn’t there in the film only for the item song. In fact, she
is starring opposite the south sensation Rana Daggubati. RGV further said that
people should check the facts before writing things.
Rana Daggubati will don the character of a scruffy policeman.
The role was in fact to be done by Abhishek Bachchan first.
