Director Priyadarshan has decided to remove the entire item
song from his film. The song was to be shot first on Sameera Reddy and then on
Mallika Sherawat. However, the producer is not in favor of editing the song at
all. It remains to be seen if the final word will be that of the producer’s or
the director’s.
But the fight between a producer and a director is not new to
Bollywood. There have been creative differences between these two people always.
However, as Sameera was first chosen for the song was replaced by Mallika. She was
then asked to show up in the song as well.
But this didn’t go well with Sameera who refused to shoot forthat item song. But as a matter of fact, it was Jiah Khan who was to do the
item song. But Mallika insisted on having the song for her and according to an
informer, there was no solid reason why Jiah was not performing.
It was also learnt that Mallika compromised on the fees and
agreed to do the song only for Rs. 11 lakhs. Well, what it is indeed difficult
to predict what the inside truth is!
