Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger and the star himself
are making records with each passing day. In just 11 days, since the release,
the film has grossed a whopping amount of Rs. 11 crores. The good thing is that
the film is still running to packed houses all over the world. No wonder, money
will still keep pouring in.
It took only five days for the film to enter the Rs. 100
crore club. There is no doubt that the film is easily the all time blockbuster.
The film has a total of more than Rs. 210 crores from India and abroad
business. It is learnt that the bulk of the amount – Rs. 175 crores comes from
India only.
The top three films in terms of Indian collection are –
3 Idiots – it grossed a nett amount of Rs. 202 crores
Ek Tha Tiger (still growing strong) – Rs. 175
crores nett
Bodyguard – Rs. 148 crores nett.
Ek Tha Tiger is quite close to breaking the
record set by 3 Idiots. Let us see if Salman Khan can do the magic once
again?
