The south star Tamannaah Bhatia
and producer Salim Akhtar fight continues with no end in sight. The producer
claims that the actress was bound to pay him 25% of the amount for the subsequent
five years. However, he further says that he never got paid by the actress. The
contract was signed way back in 2003.
He further says that he waited as
long as the contract ended and hoped that Tamannaah would pay him. Tamannaah was
supposed to star in the film Chand Sa
Roshan Chehra. That would be the first film for
Tamannaah in Bollywood. The producer has sought legal help through the Kolkata
High Court.
Salim Akhtar has made the
allegations that the actress never honored the agreement. That is why he has
gone ahead to register a formal complaint with Association of Motion Picture
and Television Programme Producers (AMPTPP).
The lawyer of Tamannaah Bhatia has
asked for the copy of the signed contract. Moreover, a reminder was also sent
that requested Tamannaah to send the statement of her earnings over the last
five years.
