Though it got more screens, it should be taken into account
that the film has been released on a working day – a non-holiday, as they call
it. As usual Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are in the lead. The film is
directed by Arbaaz Khan, who is already an actor and a producer.
As far as Dabangg is concerned, it had earned Rs. 14.5
crores on its first day. Dabangg 2 crossed the mark set by Akshay Kumar
starrer Rowdy Rathore. The film had grossed Rs. 15 crores. Both Rowdy
Rathore and Dabangg 2 were released on non-holiday.
Experts in the field feel that this film too will cross the
Rs. 100-crore mark.
