Shilpa Shetty hosts dinner for Shane Warne and Elizabeth Hurley

The owner of the IPL Rajasthan Royal team, Shilpa Shetty had organized a dinner for Shane Warne and girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley and at her home in Mumbai in the weekend. It was under the captaincy of Shane Warne that Rajasthan Royals had won the inaugural edition of the IPL.

The legendary spinner from Australia is in India in the commentary team for the ongoing India England cricket series. On that occasion Shilpa Shetty invited him and his girlfriend for a dinner. The Bollywood actress posted her pictures along with the couple as well.

She then tweeted, “Gr8 to c @warne888 nd @ElizabethHurley at r home, fun evening at home with a few friends :) (sic).” The cricketer and his actress girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley too were thankful to the couple for their hospitality.

“Thank you to @TheShilpaShetty and @TheRajKundra for the most delicious dinner and enchanting cuddle with the Mini Kundra,” Elizabeth Hurley tweeted this on Twitter. The reference of Mini Kundra is to the six month old baby of Shilpa, Viaan.

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty along with his wife Mana, another Bollywood actor Chunkey Pandey and his wife Bhavna, the famous industrialist Gautam Singhania and wife Nawaz were some people who were invited for the party.

Elizabeth Hurley had infatuation with Shane Warne?

Actress Elizabeth Hurley has said that, she fell for Australian bowling wizard Shane Warne, just for the looks. “It was love at first sight”, Elizabeth Hurley said. It is the first time that she has spoken openly about her affair with Warne, since their news reports started to surface since the last year. They became stronger after her famous split from her businessman husband Arun Nayar.

Elizabeth Hurley is certainly a satisfied woman as she thinks she has met the right kind of a person. She said that one does not often meet people with whom they can get comfortable. She also said that both come from a different background yet they are on the same wavelength.

The actress termed their relationship as a ‘challenge’ as they have very few or almost nothing in common. Neither is there any similarity in their profession nor in their family backgrounds. Elizabeth Hurley also said that the challenge comes as they live almost 23 hours apart from each other.

Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar finally divorced

British actress Elizabeth Hurley and Indian businessman Arun Nayar have finally been divorced.  It was a high-profile hearing for the divorce. However, it was just a formality to get the verdict from the High Court judge. That is the reason why it took just about 90 odd seconds for the judge to pronounce the judgment.

As the result was a foregone conclusion, neither of the individuals who mattered - Elizabeth Hurley or Arun Nayar was present at the hearing. The conclusion was stated as being ‘unreasonable behavior’ on the part of Arun Nayar. That is why the decree nisi was granted as the court was satisfied and the petitioner is said to have been entitled for the divorce.

This is exactly what mattered the most “the respondent has behaved in such a way that the petitioner cannot be reasonably expected to live with the respondent”. As it was a mutual decision to get a divorce, both Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar agreed to share the cost of the divorce.

Things got really weird after Elizabeth had a stint of news about having an affair with Australian Shane Warne. There were also images of her having kissing scenes with him. Things got from bad to worse and finally resulted in the inevitable divorce.
