Ankeeta Mukherjii, Kajol’s sister enters Bollywood

Ankeeta Mukherjii, who has an identity of that of being Kajol’s sister, is all set to make her Bollywood debut. There is no way that anyone could possibly know a lot of her as she was not India. She was born, has been raised and brought up in the United States.

She has now moved to Kolkata and is currently in the financial capital of India. Her uncle got married to the aunt of Kajol, while her mother is a US lady.

After coming to India, Ankeeta has given auditions for some films. She is currently in touch with Mohnish Behl. Though her Bollywood career is yet to get started, she has already bagged a Bengali movie with Prosenjit.

In spite of being nearer to Kajol, for Ankeeta Mukherjii, Preity Zinta is her idol. The family members of Ankeeta Mukherjii are not against her joining the films. However, she says that, they will not like to see her doing an item number.

Preeti Jhangiani will be back on the big screen

Preeti Jhangiani who made her debut more than ten years back with the film Mohabbatain, had been on a break due to her first pregnancy. Now that her baby is more than a year old, Preeti has all the time to be back where she belongs to – the world of Hindi cinema.

As a matter of fact, Preeti Jhangiani has been doing regional language films and has been managing her shooting. But now, as her baby is growing she has enough time to devote to her career. Yes, she has shed all the pregnancy weight and the actress is looking in shape once again.

She admitted that it was not easy leaving her baby back home and working. However, she also said that it would not be good to be always in front of the toddler. So that is how Preeti Jhangiani is managing to balance her domestic and professional life.

The fact that she is returning on the big screen as a married woman now, does not trouble her. She gave examples of other stars like Lara Dutta, Malaika Arora Khan and Kajol to drive her point home.

Life’s Difficult For Karan

The past few days, in fact weeks have not been too cozy for the famous director Karan Johar. He has to manage the promotion of his latest film ‘We Are Family’ all by himself. There is no Kajol with him as the lady has gone on a maternity go. As for Kareena, she is busy with ‘Agent Vinod’.
When two major faces are missing, life is going to be difficult. And that is quite understandable. Karan admits that he has totally ignored his all his upcoming appointments and he is squarely concentrating on the current film on hand.
Even with such a hectic schedule and with such an immense workload, Karan can afford to crack a joke or two. He said, “Probably, I’ll make ‘My Name Is Karan’ and cast myself in the lead". Karan admits that ‘We Are Family’ as it isn’t a typical mass entertainer. Moreover there was absence of Kajol and Kareena.

My Role Was Difficult Than Kajol: Kareena

It does not feel good to hear when the person whom you love and idolize makes loose talks. There is a sense of selfishness and one-upmanship. We are talking about Kareena Kapoor and her role in her latest film ‘We Are Family’. Kareena Kapoor and Kajol are the prominent female faces in the film.
She ran her mouth when she said that her role was more difficult than that of Kajol’s. Kareena gave the reference when talking about her current film. She said, “In ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ we did not have enough scenes together. But in ‘We Are Family’, we have lots of them.”
She agreed that both of the ladies did have powerful roles to play. However, she just could not resist the temptation of emphasizing and finalizing that she had a role with a more challenging part than that of Kajol. We will get to see when we see the film.
