Nayanthara to star in the Tamil remake of Dabangg, Osthi

The charming leading lady from south, Nayanthara, has given the nod to act in the remake of the item song from Salman Khan starrer Dabangg. The film is being made in Tamil and is titled Osthi. Nayanthara will be seen in the song that was originally choreographed on Sonakshi Sinha.

The shooting of the film is currently underway. The shooting will soon be completed. In fact, the film is scheduled to be released by the year end. Earlier, there were some inexplicable reports doing the rounds on the Internet that the south sex bomb, Nayanthara was going to quit acting. However, after Nayanthara accepting the offer, all the rumors have been put to rest.

In some recent developments for Nayanthara, the actress converted to Hinduism on this last Sunday at the Arya Samaj Temple in Chennai. Guesses are being made that the actress converted as the first step to marrying her long time love, the ace choreographer Prabhu Deva.

It seems Nayanthara is going against her family wish go get converted to Hinduism. Nayanthara was a born Christian Diana Mariam Kurian.
