Sonam Kapoor’s middle finger gesture passes censor test

Sonam Kapoor will be seen in Abbas-Mustan’s next film Players. It is film that is in the news for the middle finger gesture. However, it is very surprising that the censor board has passed this specific shot. This means, it will be seen in the film like a normal gesture and there will be nothing unusual about it.
Why it is surprising is because, there has been history of the censor board where it has come down harsh on words, lewd and vulgar gestures or even country flags at times. The Saawariya girl however, will remain in the limelight for the news. The trailer shows Sonam Kapoor showing her raised middle finger as she drives her car.
Why the passing of this shot from the censor board is surprising because, before the release of the film No One Killed Jessica, Rani Mukharjee also had a shot where she shows her raised middle finger. However, the censor board was strict with that one.

Emraan Hashmi refuses to do Daayan

Vishal Bhardwaj’s Daayan indeed seems to be frightening the stars. Emraan Hashmi is the latest star to give a refusal to work in the film. It comes after the refusal of Rani Mukharjee and Vidya Balan. The Vishal Bhardwaj’s project has been reeling under problems and there seems to be no end to the worries whatsoever.
Emraan Hashmi was most certainly a part of the project. As a matter of fact, the story revolved around three women with whom the male lead actor was in relationship at various stages. So in one sense, this role was one that Emraan could not have said no to.
However, no female leading actors were getting finalized. That was taking a toll on Emraan Hashmi’s dates as well and it was getting difficult coping up with all the work. Moreover, he was also busy with other projects those are already lined up. Rani Mukharjee first walked out as she was not too happy with the way the other actors were cast.
It was a film that is female-oriented. Out of these three women with whom Emraan Hashmi would be in relationship with ultimately turns to be a witch. Now the filmmaker has to look for all the leads afresh.

Chitrangda Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Mahie Gill to star in Daayan

Vishal Bhardwaj has seriously got busy with his upcoming film titled Daayan. However, the important thing about the movie was finalizing the three leading ladies for the film. At first it was thought that, there would only be one important role out of the three. Even this role was sold out.
The role was offered to Rani Mukharjee. However, later it came to light that, all the three roles in the film are equally pivotal. As the news of this information spread, there were many aspirants trying to book one role for themselves. Vishal Bhardwaj had a tough time choosing the right candidates.

However, Chitrangda Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Mahie Gill are the three ladies who are chosen, it is learnt. There can be a compromise for Vishal Bhardwaj on the female cast. However, as far as the male cast is concerned, Emraan Hashmi is irreplaceable. Vishal Bhardwaj is firm on having Hashmi and no one else.
Some top rated heroines already withdrew themselves after they learnt that Emraan Hashmi is the male cast in the film. In fact, it was a straight ‘no’ from some of them. The script has also been written with Emraan Hashmi in mind. Both director Vishal Bhardwaj and producer Ekta Kapoor are firm on keeping Emraan Hashmi as the male lead.

Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan ends third season

The popular chat show hosted by Karan Johar, Koffee With Karan has ended its third season this year. The final episode of the show was telecast. Understandably, Karan Johar was pretty emotional at the last moment. He said that he would always remember the kaffeine kick that he got during the programme.
On the night of Sunday, this is what Karan Johar had to say about his programme, which he tweeted on his Twitter page, “KWK3 bids farewell tonight... thank you for all the love people... it has been a steaming ride!! Will miss this kaffeine kick tremendously!!!”
Why this chat show garnered tremendously popularity was because of the fact that, many actors and actresses chose the couch of Koffee With Karan to fire at their opponents. There were cold wars as well as open taunts fired at the other party.
Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor had one such famous brawl when they were the guests on the show. Their ‘fighting’ continued even many days later too. The pair of Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone was one such much talked about pair on the show. The episode involving Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee was also a popular one.
