In her latest song from the film Aiyyaa, Rani Mukharjee
has seemingly taken a dig at none other than the superstar of the millennium –
Amitabh Bachchan and his on-screen partner Rekha. The thoughts have been
expressed through a song. It very rarely happens that anyone from the film
industry makes (negative) comments about the Big B.
The dig has been taken in the song savaa dollar. One
of the stanzas of the song is said to have been prominently talked about in the
entire industry today. It is the song – a laavani, in which Rani dances
to the song choreographed by Vaibhavi. There have been digs at the clichés at
Bollywood as well.
It is being said that the Bengali beauty was not invited to
the wedding of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan and this song is the result
of this. Relationship between these two families was fine, but the differences
started to surface when Rani was not included in the list of the guests.
There has been no word from Amitabh on these developments
yet. No doubt, Big B is a mature man and it remains to be seen how he reacts to
this situation.
