For all the
fans of the Bachchan family and especially that of Aishwarya Rai, there is disappointing
news. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I&B) has led down some rules
for the various news channels that are competing with each other to bring the
new of Ash’s pregnancy first.
As far as
the important guideline goes, no news channel can break the news in any form,
be it a photograph, a MMS or any medium of communicating the news. It further
says that the news can be broken by the channels only if it is voluntary parted
by the first family of Bollywood.
The reporters
from the channels cannot come armed with the OB vans and neither can they stay
at any different location, especially for breaking the news. These developments
come after the Big B tweeted about the same and it was the Broadcast Editor’s
Association that has come up with the guidelines.
