It is
shocking news that the Indian beauty Kanishtha Dhankhar got rejected by the
jury of the Miss World contest. With this loss, India’s chances of winning the
beauty title for six times crashed down. So severe was the loss that, the Miss
India title holder would not come even in top 25.
The Mumbai based
model beauty has in the past walked ramp for well known designers like Sabyasachi
Mukherjee apart from Rohit Bal. Miss Venezuela Lvian Sacros was crowned MissWorld this past Sunday.
It was an
extravagant ceremony that was held at the Earls Court situated in London. The 21
year-old Lvian Sacros of Venezuela defeated more than 100 beauties from different
corners of the world. This year’s Miss World competition was the 61st overall.
Former model
and now a successful actress in the Bollywood industry, Priyanka Chopra, who was
the previous Indian who won the Miss World title in 2000.
